The Classic Battle of Lindsay and Hilary

actually they DID stand next to eachother in this photograph.
and there was a big stink because there was supposed to be some other girl in the picture, i don't remember who, and at the last minute she decided against it because she didn't want to be associated as a "teen" idol.
and i have no idea why Alexis Bledel is on there, i guess just becuse she "plays" teen on the Gilmore Girls.

Well, the girl who chose not to stand there was probably the smart one. All of these girls heading into their 20's, and still wanting to be portrayed as teenyboppers in their films will hurt their careers.

I think the smartest thing Anne Hathaway has done is to do films like Havoc or DWP (which is pretty good, IMO). It really helps her to be taken seriously as an actress and not some teenybopper. It's too bad Mandy Moore is in this photo. I would have thought her interest to be taken seriously would have prevented this.

As for Alexis Bledel, she's in college as a sophomore or junior on GG. I would think she'd be out of the whole teenybopper age group by now.

it's obvious why Raven, the Olsen twins and Amanda Bynes are in it, they still make all those EXTREEEEMELY teen movies.
but Lindsay is known for being an alkie druggie, i'm surprised they even let her on there. i guess this was before the ugliness...
