My brother said the other day that he is seriously considering immigrating to Ireland, since it’s relatively easy for Americans to move there. I was surprised but admitted that I was thinking of moving to Canada since we have a cousin in Toronto. Then again, my cousin’s application for citizenship was denied, so that’s disheartening. Plus, I don’t know what to do with my 83 year old father. He’ll never leave the USA.

As bad as things are heading, they aren't bad enough for me to move. I have too many ties here just now. Being retired, i doubt Canada would take me anyhow.
