YOU BE THE JUDGE...

The first one is the original... the second clip is the copycat crap version... although I have to admit that the second one with its higher budget looks more stylized and probably watched the original more and more often JUST to see how they could beat it (obviously since they didn't buy the rights and just hacked ripped it off)... However NOTHING... NOTHING BEATS the spirit and the intensity of acting in the original one... especially how the Hero just gets up off the floor to fight on... it's AWESOME

No the SECOND one is the original Oldboy and the First is the copy....

Anyway the Indian one lacks energy it looks corigraphed as hell, and my god do the camera angles suck ass, In the one and only oldboy that scene gave you a sense of depth of the corridor this one doesnt at all.

I hate to see what the American version is going to come out like :(

ZINDA IS THE ORIGINAL... I mean how else can this be emphasized... the SCRIPT WAS WRITTEN BEFORE... it was filmed AFTER cuz he was busy working on another film at the time... Sanjay Gupta doesn't copy... most of his work is purely original if not the rights are bought.

I just think the second looks a tad better cuz of stylization...but the acting is just so far superior in the original ZINDA

So that's why The studio and makers of old boy are taking legal action against ZINDA.
Oldboy producer ShowEast told the press that the only remake rights contract they ever signed was with Universal in the United States.

So if Sanjay wrote the script first and sold it on why would they bother taking legal action for him making a carbon copy of the film

Face it he ripped off a good Asian movie frame by frame :p
