Should they make any changes/updates to the costume?

I personally like this one and want them to just keep it but who know's what some exec may want, but what would you do?

Well, I'd like to see some details to be changed :)

Update it.

How can it not change somewhat? He hasn't just begun afterall.

If they could make it a little more flexable, that'd be nice. Like Bale said he couldn't lift his arms up all the way, they should try and fix that.

If Nolan & Co update it then it's ok, don't just update it just for sake of it.

Definitely update it. The first costume worked because it looked thrown together. This time around, I expect a better design. Maybe a slimmer cowl, a more organic look to the abs, and no visible clasps. I'd prefer if they made the black/charcoal gray combo a bit more traditional in look.

I think they should keep the color from BB. But they really need to make it more comfortable.

More flexible and slimmer. It looked uncomfortable. I wish the cowl would be slimmer like in Batman Returns.

All they have to do is fix the cape a little bit, so that it wraps around a little easier, Animated Series style.

Other than that it's great as it.

Just as a point of ref.

Whatever, Nolan does with the batsuit I'll be okay with.

It can be more flexible.
That's why I voted for "Yeah they could update it some" option.

Any manips showing the improvements?

Is only logical that the suit gets an update afterall the begins suit was his amateur kinda outfit in the sense that it hsould change slightly and not just for us to see a new look but nolan should do it in a way that serves both the preactical problems of the begins suit in real life and in the movie. Since nolan likes to explain each detail(which I love) of batman's arsenal he and the writters should come up with a logical way for some of the suit's changes in the movie. example: in begins there were some problems with the graphite on the cowl,I dont want them to change the cowl, sorry bad exampple begin's cowl is great because the bone structure on the cheeks give's it a more animalistic/creature like look, more organic and at the same time it looks sleek, the neck I think should stay the same, it looks big yes but it makes batman even more menacing because the neck makes him look big heavy(not fat) and the same time it gives the ilusion of a guy that's big but at the same time he can do all this great physical feats, os in a way it makes him even more of a terrifying and formidable foe. the changes should be however in the suit.

1) I think I talk for everyone when I say that they should use a material which creases less so the suit looks sleek and the body shape looks better.

2) I think they should keep the same color of the begins suit, just change the abs make the abs structure thinner so it won't rise so much, this will decrease the creasing in the abdominal area.

3) the mask, they should come up with a way to make the mask less tight in bale's face so he doesn't end up looking like his face is about to blow out of the mask. O ther than thta I think the suit should remain the design, maybe add a few new details but nothing too noticeable.

The BB suit was the best Batman suit ever in live action. If the same crew that designed this one have had the time to refine their ideas and I belive they will create a very similiar and updated version. Look at the Spiderman suits - in both movies there have been minor changes to his suit and in every one (1, 2, what we've seen of 3) the suit still looks perfect. I will be happy so long as they keep the suit a suit - and dont throw in a lot of gimmicks like the "sonar" suit and crap like that.

You make a good point here. I agree that the suit should evolve not just for the sake of change or a new design but for practicality or just the evolution of the character. Batman should always be adding new weapons to his arsenal. New tech, new stratagies, new tactics. To stay sharp in a war on crime you have to constantly adapt.

blacker. and more leathery looking.

the cape and cowl should be connected like in the comics that way he can pull back the mask and have it hang on his back, not the helmet cowl he wore in begins.

The cape should look more leathery.
