Tbf The Suicide Squad wrapped filming in February 2020 right as Covid was starting to gear up. So I could sorta see the studio not wanting to do reshoots unless they absolutely had to.

But I do think Gunn has been known in the past do trying to cover as much as possible during the intial filming period.

There are more egregious examples of bad writing on Smallville. I think this is just Lex being weird.

I actually do kind of hope there’s some semblance of a Clark/Lex friendship (former or otherwise) this time around.

I still think it’s bizarre that we got a Lex exactly the same age as Clark in BVS and it amounted to nothing. Granted, that movie was overstuffed as it was and it hardly would’ve helped any, but still.

Yeah I have to agree there, it'd only be bad writing if they weren't intending him to come off a bit weird/intense. That's just good character building 😅

I actually really liked this episode. But I had a lot of body issues as a teen, so I just really related.

I believe she was thinking of TJ Miller or Thomas Middleditch. Separate from their allegations, there was also one actress on that show who said pretty much the entire male cast were horrible to work with, including Kumail, but she didn’t mention anything like harassment or sexual misconduct in that claim. Sounds like she was just saying they were a-holes.
