Mods, when are you guys going to open up a Superman box office thread. I am seeing predictions are starting to happen and surprisingly the box office predictions are high.

Am I the only one that thinks david looks extremely skinny and narrow shouldered here:

Maybe it's just the way the shot was taken but he looks odd.

It would just be the shot, we know he is huge and they didn't reshoot. Also we only have him for perspective of his size.

Update happened that broke the forum. You can check this thread for updates and workarounds here. Switching to the default Xenforo theme is a temp solution at the moment.

Lots of things are functionally broken right now with the move to a new Xenforo version I don't think I can help much at the moment. Just stuck waiting.

There was an update and it broke the layout. You can change to the "Xenforo" skin for the time being to make things more readable until they get the main one fixed.

I'm really curious how much screentime the other heroes get - I'm hoping it's rather minimal, honestly. Nothing against them - I just want this to not distract from Superman.

I trust Gunn, but I think seeing Green Lantern/Hawkgirl in the trailer threw me for a loop.

Gunn has been adamant about them serving the plot and supporting the main character. So hopefully their screen time make sense.

I've enjoyed enough comics stories with other heroes serving smallish roles in the plot in a positive way (I.e. Up, Up & Away) that it doesn't massively concern me yet.

The teaser trailer's the most viewed trailer to a Superman movie ever made. Which it got in about 2 weeks. Even if you wanna extend it to DC movie trailers, as far as I can recall the only trailers with more viewers are BvS Trailers 1 and 2, along with The Batman's main trailer.

The teaser trailer is currently the 4th most viewed DC movie trailer on Youtube.

After three weeks.

Box office predictions being high is anything but surprising, imo
