Krypto bumper for the Puppy Bowl.

You might need your eyes and ears checkedYou laugh but Rachel's nearly the same age as her. The hair and voice make her appear far older.
That and her Celeb Jeopardy appearance remind me of her, personality wise.

Why? They never promised anything people just ran with it based on vague things Gunn said. This felt like a bait and switch by WB.
Very disappointed.
I’m assuming there won’t be a new trailer until Thunderbolts comes out.I wasn't really expecting much givin' that they played their hand with the "Puppy Bowl" but treating a sneak peak of the film as a banner on said-telecast almost always means something new. It is what it is and we will get what we get once the marketing ramps up, but that was a little false starts on the offense there. They should have just stuck with the theme of Krypto and not used Sneak Peak. That gives off false impressions on fanbases that are tunung in expecting a new clip of Krypto in the very least from the actual film. But atleast Cinemacon is right around the corner. That's when the second wave of marketing will ramp up and probably a brand new trailer heading straight for us.
I don't know what Gunn said, but this was from the official press release:Why? They never promised anything people just ran with it based on vague things Gunn said.
One incredible pup who displays "super" abilities will be presented with the Krypto Super Play award. Audiences can catch a special sneak peek of Superman within Puppy Bowl before its theatrical release on July 11, 2025. During the game, writer and director James Gunn will deliver a special message with his dog Ozu, who serves as the inspiration for the character Krypto in DC Studios' Superman.
Nah; I'd say March for trailer #2. April the latest.I’m assuming there won’t be a new trailer until Thunderbolts comes out.
I wasn't talking about...She sounds nothing like Marge Simpson. WTF are you talking about?
I guarantee the headlines tomorrow will be how disappointed fans are that there was no new Superman footage. I will say this the Puppy bowl sneak peak angle was misleading. But overall the marketing has been great. The teaser trailer had a two months head start on the other summer blockbusters. While Marvel basically is eating its 3 movies up with trailers within days of each other. They didn’t even let FF4 breath.
My guess would be the second trailer will give us dialog from Clark and Superman, with of course, Lois and Lex. I also expect to see the Engineers power set. The second trailer will blow are minds. Gunn already has most fans begging for more. Just gotta tighten up the VFX.The trailer did its job tenfold, but the marketing so far isn't anything great. It's just..there right now. They had a huge hit with the first trailer, but everything else has been forgettable. As long as trailer # 2 hits like it did the first time, things will level up. I am still waiting for them to show David more. I hope it can filter into more Superman and Lois centric as we push forward. The Guy Gardner "Bowl Tease" doesn't necessarily scream to an audience that Superman is coming. More lead man in David, please.
Nah I really don't think you can say this. If they release press statements saying there will be a sneak peak, and have an actual banner across the bottom of the screen popping up throughout the puppy bowl promising a sneak peak... surprise surprise, people are going to expect a sneak peak. Why? They never promised anything people just ran with it based on vague things Gunn said.
2nd trailer on Easter. You heard it people. If they're indeed using the Barbie marketing strategy as was reported several months back...Barbie's 1st teaser trailer was December 16th. 2nd "teaser" trailer (it was just a regular trailer honestly) April 4th. Full final trailer was May 25th.
So I'm guessing 2nd trailer w/ Minecraft (April 4th) and/or Sinners (WB IMAX release April 18th), final trailer with Mission: Impossible and Lilo & Stitch, both on May 23rd.
I suspect since they're making a point to chase the younger crowd with this movie, they'll go with Minecraft for the next trailer debut, and just have it also be attached to Sinners 2 weeks later.
Agree. The trailer did its job tenfold, but the marketing so far isn't anything great. It's just..there right now. They had a huge hit with the first trailer, but everything else has been forgettable. Sorry but I disagree. The majority of the people watching the Puppy Bowl are going to be people not part of any fandom...to them this was a sneak peak as they likely either didn't see or forgot the trailer. It is not Gunn's fault a bunch of people on Youtube and message boards expected more. We weren't promised more and outside of (fake) insiders no one was really even hinting at more. He literally gave us everything he said he would.I wasn't really expecting much givin' that they played their hand with the "Puppy Bowl" but putting a sneak peek of the film as a banner on said-telecast almost always means something new. It is what it is and we will get what we get once the marketing ramps up, but that was a little false-start on the offense there. They did have a sneak peak...you all thought that meant new scenes or a trailer. They never said that. Again, to us yes that is what it means but nowhere does he say "look for a new trailer or never before seen Krypto action at the Puppy Bowl!!". I mean its the friggin Puppy Bowl...Nah I really don't think you can say this. If they release press statements saying there will be a sneak peak, and have an actual banner across the bottom of the screen popping up throughout the puppy bowl promising a sneak peak... surprise surprise, people are going to expect a sneak peak.
This isn't a case of wildly high fan expectations. This is just what anyone would rationally assume.
Most of us hear/see the phrase 'sneak peak' and think 'movie clip' because that's what most sneak peaks are...

Man, some people, even ones who consider them comic book fans, really don't get Guy Gardner lol. "He looks horrible!" Uh, yeah, he does!
So far that’s probably my favorite image of David as Superman. From Everything_DCU on the website that shall remain unspoken:
