if that keeps posters from obsessing about scooper's online grifts in here then bring it on lol
Seriously brother, other insiders are saying there hearing this movie is a classic summer blockbuster crowd pleaser with heart. I think I get the “Mummy” reference.

Let’s just call it what it is and start a grifters thread…
Done.

The marketing will likely start to kick in after the trailer in April which will be, give or take, 3 months out from the release date.

From what I've read it also has high awareness so they are on the right track as far as I'm concerned.

These days people barely have attention span so timing is everything.

I'm shocked so far at the lack of david corenswet marketing. If you look at the marketing for man of steel and superman returns for example, we had tons of photos by this time of brandon and henry in costume, full body shots, magazine covers etc. I'm not talking footage here, I know that will come in time, but just simple photo shoot type stuff. Most of the shots of him we have gotten have been either low quality or just crap phone pictures from toy tags. Seems to me they could do more there.

The movie is 4 months away.... lots of time to ramp up marketing. I'm expecting things to be pretty Superman heavy in May/June. Bombarding people with material now will just A.) burn them out on Superman or B.) be ineffective because it's too far out.

Sneider's rumors definitely echo across the internet. You will see a lot of articles using his newsletters/videos for their basis on their own video/article. I haven't seen much positive articles on Superman in a hot minute. I think the last one was comparing it to Brendan Fraser's The Mummy... which sounds awesome to me!

I don't find that pic to be the most flattering of David as Superman, and for whatever reason, filmmakers (for the most part) haven't been able to figure out good Superman hair since Christopher Reeve, though I appreciate the curl.

corenswet looks like michael shannon's more handsome, younger brother there.

i say this with all love for michael shannon - as he's one of my favorite modern actors to watch.

Why? That looks like and old school superhero in the flesh!

That's... SUPERMAN!
