SUPERMAN: So, what did you think of X-Men Origins: Wolverine?
BATMAN:Not one of the worst superhero movies, certainly not one of the best either. The cast is solid, decent direction, some great visuals and action sequences, but the script is overall mediocre and kinda sloppy, doesn´t add anything fresh or particularly compelling to the superhero movie genre. Feels like they were more worried with throwing eye-popping visuals and fights scenes at you and shoehorning mutants´ cameos than properly telling the story.
SUPERMAN: All you needed to say was "Fox made it".
BATMAN: I was getting there.

I would compare it more to Casino Royale than BB. To me, a big part of the joy of BB was seeing elements from comics I didn´t feel were portrayed, or properly portrayed, on film. IN ST, like CR, I get to see all that I know and love from the old franchises, but in a fresh way that makes it exciting again.

Completely respects and homages the classic Trek canon, yet injects it with more adrenaline, warmth and wit than the franchise has seen in a long, long time. Tremendous visuals, compelling characters and a cast that makes the classic characters their own. Among the few flaws, the pacing could be a little bit less frantic and the romance feels abrupt and kinda underwtitten.
