For anyone who has not heard yet HBO will be having a first look show on The Dark Knight this starting this Thursday.

I just saw the commercial for it after watching a movie on HBO. Looks like it will be good. What do you guys think it will encompass?

That's weird, the new Joker countdown ends at 10pm EDT on July the 10th and the HBO schedule shows that the first showing of the First Look will be at 10:45pm on that date. Not to sound ungrateful, but I hope there's more in store for us when the countdown reaches zero.

Me too... this close to the release date, it'd be a waste of time. TV Spots are definate, but trailers is kind of pointless at this point.

What would be cool (and doubtful) is to have a blank screen, then all of a sudden have Joker appear out of the blackness leading up to maybe a 1 minute (or less) scene of the interrogation scene.

Joker grins as Gordon interrogates him.

After a while "If we're gonna play games, I'm gonna get me a cup of coffee." Gordon says. Then Joker replies "The good cop, bad cop routine?"

"Not exactly", Gordon leaves the room, turns on the light and Batman, behind Joker, slams his head down onto the table. Batman walks around the table. Joker lifts up his head "OOOW.. never start with the head, the victim gets all fuzzy!" Then a few more lines, then a short montage of action clips... then TDK logo...

Simple... 1 minute scene... 30 second montage... logo... then Hellboy II... I doubt that'll happen, but it'd be cool.
