Part 36 and still a whole year to go lolololol

Though it set up that last shot so beautifully.

A great image of Catwoman to me...

Yes, it was a very beautiful shot.

Anyway, I read your idea. I never said they might not make it work. And especially with TDKR being the last film, anyone's fair game.

But I still don't like it. Just like I still don't like the fact they killed 2Face, although it worked beautifully.

I'll be really upset if Catwoman dies.

Exactly. Btw, I liked your idea for her death (didn't mention it in my previous post).

 Thanks; there a lot of avenues that could be explored, a lot of which I wouldn't personally want to see but, I like to keep people reminded of them, just for clarity.

Don't be ironic. I just don't like that idea. I didn't even like her supposed death in BR.

Ya, sorry about being a d**k. I was just throwing out ideas. Honestly, I don't like Catwoman dying either, but who knows with Nolan. All we can do is expect the unexpected. :yay:

No problem. I'm not saying it can't be done. As I mentioned before, look at 2Face. Beautiful achievement. But I'm still upset they offed him.

I honestly would have saved the phone call to Gordon from Harvey for the final scene of the film, after the Joker was apprehended. Then have Harvey be the villain of the third, but I'm fine with this too.

It would have been okay to have Two-Face in the next film, but I'd rather have completely new villians. I will say that I don't think Two-Face had enough to do in the movie. It would have been cool to see him come back in TDKR and set up some elaborate crime, rather than him just offing a few people in TDK and thats it. But he had his place in the story and it worked, so it will be nice to see two new Nolan villians.

Yeah, something along those lines, albeit less cliffhanger-y would have also been fine by me.

Still no news I see. As for the Bilal guy, as someone put it in the other thread, the fact that he even thought Clayface was an option renders his hypothesis invalid.

I'm still doting on this "death" idea. Would Nolan be so secretive over the ending as to not give it to the actors themselves and just "tell them" (as explained by Oldman) if the ending was a simple, "Batman saves the day" affair?

Come to think of it, looking at Nolan's repertoire Batman Begins was probably his most "clean" ending. I really don't think TDKR will have a similar ending to that. Plus with Nolan going on about putting an "end" to his film, plus word that WB execs were a little miffed at the ending, makes me think that a major death could occur in the film.

My money is on Alfred, I don't think Catwoman will bite it. It may not even be a death could be that Bruce gives up or something equally as shocking.

Just food for thought, I just wanna know what got WB's panties in such a rumoured twist.

No one needs to die for the film to have a great impact, not even the villain(s).

I've never heard about that.

What were the rumours?

I'm actually happy they didn't wait to do Two-Face in another film. It fits in that film. The cut off would have had to been much earlier, like hospital scene. If the movie ended with Harvey still in the hospital that would have given Batman 3 a good chunk of meat.

I might be the only one who thinks Harvey works in one film only and was happy they killed him, I don't see survival as something that could have been interesting to me. His arc is so powerful it needs a definite ending.

This stuff about him being in Arkham and all of that is nice and all but, it really adds nothing to his arc.

these films aren't about Harvey (I can argue forever how TDK isn't really about Harvey at all but, totally about Bruce and who he has become, using Harvey as a model for Bruce) they're about Bruce Wayne and Batman and everything we got from Harvey in TDK was exactly what we needed.

With it done in one film we get some great chances to explore post TDK issues, instead of flushing out the really awesome TDK issues longer.

That's nice, but I'd prefer a series of Batman films that are about all of the characters, not just Bruce. Seeing a bunch of characters who don't get any development just because "it's about Bruce" would be a piece of dung. And to be honest, I don't see Nolan's films as being like that. Yes, Bruce is the meat of the story, but he's not the ONLY story.

These stories ARE about Bruce, but you still get a good amount of other people.

I don't see why some people don't think Two-Face had enough time in TDK? TDK I thought was awesome with Harvey, his descent into Two-Face and Two-Face's actions.

What more could you see happening?

All the stories in these films relate to Bruce in one way or another; it's how it impacts him. If we're watching other people with no effect on Bruce, what's it about?

I hope we can reach part 1000 by the time the movies out :oldrazz:
