I tried the "Hey, here's the MM UPC, can you guys please order more" approach at WM, and was told that until they sell what they have, they won't get any more new figures, and if they do, it can take up to 2 weeks.

Does this pretty much match up with other Hyper's attempts?

Pretty much, at all Wal-Marts and TRUs all I get is "We have what we have" and when I ask if they can order more or if there's more coming in, I usually just get the answer "Probably in a couple weeks" or "Check back next week or the week after"

I did hear at Wal-Mart and at K-Mart though that they are expecting to put up a display soon.

No store can tell what figure is coming in, its all in assortments. They do not inventory individual figures. You can give them catowman figure upc, telezon will say catwoman 6 movie masters or w.e and say on hand 8. When we know they do not have 8 catwomans. Usually when a series is down to 2 or 3 figures the system automatically orders, if the case will fit on the shelf cap.

I went to TRU today and spoke with the manager there. He claims that there are tons of scalpers lurking around his store for these figures and that he has boxes of them in the back waiting to be released on the floor. They have this schedule that they will only release one or two of these figures at a time to avoid those scalper from buying in bulk. I'm not sure if this is true.

I had a TRU's employee tell me that 10 to 11 am on Friday's is when the "collectors" stake out the store during restocks.

I heard the same thing at my loak toys r us today! They said they can't keep the scampers at bay. They had a line at the door this morning and try all went straight for the figure isle. I don't even know how I managed to beat them to the Selina and John Blake that I got!

That makes sense. My tru had a batman on peg. Next day Batman and 1 alfred thought that was weird unless someone returned alfred doubt it though.

My TRU doesnt even have a peg for movie masters anymore. I looked all over the figure isles too. Ughh

TRUs still has nothing. I spoke with the manager and verified that they have not received any new shipments in the last few weeks. The single restock that they did do was from the first batch they had left over.

Target was fully stocked. 3 pegs. All Batman and Bane.

Top hook- 4 Batman's.

Middle hook 4 Batman's

Bottom hook- 3 Banes

They're probably not going to restock since it look fully stocked. Someone needs to get rid of all those Batman's!


I've got one more Walmart to check out tomorrow but i'm not hopeful to see a Blake.

Alright... I got all of my thoughts together. What I have and what I need.

I have:
Movie Masters Joker (Toys R' Us exclusive) Joker with rocket launcher. Mint on Card
Movie Masters Catwoman (goggles up). I have 3 mint on card
Movie Masters Catwoman (goggles down). Mint on card
Movie masters Catwoman Signal piece

I want:
Loose Goggles Down Catwoman
Bat Signal piece #3 (Alfred's piece)
Ras (The Dark Knight rises Version)
Shirtless 2 pack Bane (or just his arms if anyone has any fodder lying around)

I would also take Ras' signal piece. I am not really looking for the figure but I would take it. Same goes for Alfred.

Also, there is a thrift store by me that has a Gothem City Thug that I could buy if anyone is looking for that.


I am nt looking to make a steal or scalp anything. I will make even trades )

I was a lucky few who found Blake and Gordon on Walmart's website before they sold out. I'm checking there periodically for the Ra's figure to appear.
