Mine are that it was AMAZING!!!

Greatest Part...

The WHOLE Movie!

:brucebat:

I'm seeing it on Friday.
getting crazy, already...

I'll tell you at about 11PM PST tomorrow.

I can't say until after I've awoken at midday this coming Friday :o

It rocked...
On every level...
Possible

I think it will take a day or two before everything sets it.
One of my favorite moments though was when the Joker had his head out the window of the cop car. We had seen that before in the trailers, but the way it played out with no audio amongst all the chaos was a really cool moment.

For those of us who have seen all the trailers, tv spots etc, how much of the movie is still a "surprise"? I fear that I've seen way too much.

you're in the non-spoilers thread, my man...:batman:

Two words.

INTERROGATION SCENE.

It's amazing like you wouldn't believe and some parts of it sent chills down my spine. Well Heath did that in pretty much in every scene he was in. I was literally grabbing my mouth in a few areas of the film because of how terrified/shocked/amazed of what he was doing with the character. His movements, voice, and just everything. Unreal.

I'd say stop watching TV spots and clips, but really theres alot to enjoy. I feel like I could've saved a few of those clips online for the actual film, but I was caught up in alot of excitement and amazement in the film. And most of the clips released online were shortened quite a bit from the film anyways so good news

It took itself far too seriously, very boring.
It's a man who dresses up as a bat, it should be more fun like Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher batman's, critics can say what they want, but the movies were at least fun. Jack Nicholson is still the best joker btw, don't let the hype make you rose tinted in the eye's.

Before you lynch kez....I believe he is joking. :oldrazz:

Well...id say my favorite parts...but itd be spoilers

It's pretty much impossible to say anything about this movie without giving something vital away. But that's what I loved about it. Everything in the movie is important. Not a single piece of dialogue is wasted, every small plot point has a purpose. Everything in the movie leads into something bigger.

Here is a quick, non-spoiler review:

First off, every single thing said about Heath Ledger's performance is completely true. I cannot praise his performance enough. I would go so far as say that recasting the Joker in the next film would be a huge mistake, because I don't think it is possible any actor could play this role better than him. I went into the film not completely convinced he was going to live up to the praise, but walked out of the theater a complete believer.

People will also be happy to know pretty much every small thing that people had a problem with in regards to Batman Begins is corrected in this movie. Not a single piece of dialogue is cringe worthy. No one liners. Nothing is forced. Even what sounds like potential one liners from the trailers and tv spots work within the context of the film. Rachel is far more likable, and Maggie Gyllenhall acted circles around Katie Holmes. In fact, she did such a good job it makes me really bummed she's not in Begins. The fight scenes are also shot much better. No more quick cuts, and the camera is actually pulled back a bit so you can really see everything. There are even a few plot points from Begins that people had problems with that are addressed in this film.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned too much is Gordon. He has a much larger role in this film. I would say the only people that have more screen time than him are Batman, Joker, and possibly Harvey Dent. And while I liked Gary Oldman's performance in Begins, he had so much more to work with in this film. Really, the truth is, there was not a single actor in this movie that turned in a subpar performance. Everyone was at the top of their game for this film.

Also, in regards to the complaint about the long run time, I don't get it. Those two and a half hours flew by for me. Like I said earlier, every small detail in the film serves a purpose. The action scenes are not just mindless action just for the sake of having an action scene, they all play vital roles in propelling the movie forward.

All in all I would have to say this is by far the smartest comic book film I have ever seen, and without a doubt the best. As other people have already said, it's not simply an amazing comic book movie, it's an amazing movie. It transcends the genre, and it will be a long time before any comic book movie even comes close to this (unless, of course, Nolan makes a third film). This is our Godfather 2, this is our Empire Strikes Back.

OMG, you rated this movie 1/10..........you REALLY have seen it?

I'm getting quite anxious. Tomorrow night cannot get here soon enough. I want to join the spoiler forum again for discussion, but I can't risk it right now. I feel really bad for all the chums across the pond who have to wait until next week to see it. That sucks! I'll be glad when everyone can discuss it openly!

TDK gets a 5/5 from me. Best movie I have seen in the last 4 odd years I think. It's a film that is as ambitious as they come but Nolan pulls it off in spades. This movie isn't just another great comic book movie, it's a great movie...period. It dares to be something more than another summer blockbuster and by God does it succeed in every department. This was a movie going experience that I'll never forget. Completely blown away after being in a 2.5 hour rollercoaster ride.

It is an amazing movie. It has surpassed my expectations (didnt think it was possible). I love the way the film was put together, most of the film had me at the edge of my seat due to the way it was edited. The fight scenes are a vast improvement as you can actually see what Batman is doing this time around (the keysi moves were sexy). Overall, an amazing experience, and I'm glad I experienced it in Imax.

I avoided TV spots 6 and up, saw the trailers, avoided the "My Hero" clip. Thought I knew the trailers line for line and wasn't in for anything surprising... boy was I wrong.

Excellent... excellent movie.

^ Agreed on the part of the fight scenes. Well choreographed, well shot and well edited this time around. A vast improvement.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with this. What came as a pretty big shock to me is what struck me as being throw away one liners from the trailer were actually parts of longer pieces of dialogue that weren't nearly as corny when they were seen within the context of the film. So even the lines from the film I thought I already knew were only bits and pieces of the actual dialogue.

Question for you guys that have seen it:

Is there anything from the trailers that were expecting to see, that actually got cut from the film? thx
