The DCEU slate, what is it? What should it be?

are all in varying states of development and have no concrete release dates. When should these movies come out? And who should get priority?

Man of Steel 2 should get bumped up, I believe, depending on where Superman's arc ends up after Justice League. I think Booster Gold could provide some levity for the universe, so I think at the very least, Man of Steel 2, Flash, Booster Gold should be the focus.

This has been getting a lot of promotion.
Constantine is being exposed across all mediums & platforms (live-action series/animated movie/animated series/animated webseries).
They might as well get Matt Ryan for the actual feature.

Ben Affleck's all over this​

Someone compared its production to Fox's Gambit

Sirens
They're banking on the success of Harley​

Black Adam
They're banking on the success of 'The Rock'

Shazam
There seems to be a stronger likelihood of Black Adam's movie coming first​

Not Happening. He's moving forward as a supporting role.

Feels more like they promised Will Smith a movie​

Dark Universe is a tough one to figure out, only because Doug Liman has a lot on his plate and I'm not exactly sure how his projects are prioritized. However, I'm hoping the film gets fast-tracked if Justice League Dark performs strongly.

Im thinking since New Line own Shazam and Black Adam movies, it is possible that WB produces 3 movies a year, and Newline gives us one.

A speculative attempt at cramming all the movies in the timeline(although some will eventually get delayed/cancelled).

2018 : Batman(july), GCS(august), Aquaman(oct)
2019 : Shazam(april),Flash(june),SS2(august),JL2(nov)
2020 : Black Adam(april),GLC(june),JLD(august),MOS2(nov)

They're gonna need a great trailer to hook people on this one. I had, up to recently, never heard of justice league dark or most of the characters. I think this will be pretty common.

I don't really care too much what the slate is other than I think after WW and Justice League, if it's going ok, to center on Batman and Superman. I think Aquaman is a go, right?
I know comic fans love the Flash but it wouldn't bother me personally if he didn't have his own movie for awhile as long as he at least cameos on stuff other than JL.
I'm not personally interested in a cyborg movie. I wish he didn't exist in these movies.
I think it's gonna be extremely difficult for Green Lantern to not come off silly too but I'll be hoping for the best.
I would have loved the big 3 flash and Aquaman as the only heroes for the entire franchise.
If they even did just 2 movies for each character that's 10 movies plus 2 plus justice league movies.
12 movies is plenty for me. That already sounds to me like overkill.

I just care about Superman all these other guys are just filler to me. But it seems like WB is going full force with CBMs as Comic book movies. All these movies remind me of all the different comic books that are constantly released, a movie will encompass a few issues of a characters comic book run.

After MoS underperformed and got poor reviews WB probably felt a Superman sequel would do even worse and wasn't worth spending money on. And they were probably right because even with Batman and Wonder Woman in BvS it still got
negative reviews and didn't make the money WB hoped it would. In retrospect they probably should have dropped Snyder and rebooted Superman again with a different director. Maybe the third time they could have gotten Superman right.

I'd love a MOS 2, I wouldn't say the first one underperformed. But it didn't have that runaway mega success that WB may have hoped for.

I think a sequel will happen, but right now despite critical reception Suicide Squad was a huge boxoffice hit. It's why we got talk of an Ayer directed Sirens movie, and even a potential Deadshot solo.

Also we got the Rock, one of the few people these days who can really pull people to movies getting his own Black Adam movie.

I think we could see MOS 2 around 2020

Supposedly that is the plan for the Booster Gold movie. It won't be part of the DCEU.

I've been thinking about the slate of movies, we know Ben Affleck's Batman film isn't going to be rushed into production but should be released within the next 2-3 years. The Flash is in limbo at the moment and Byborg appears to be off the table. So taking all this into account we definitely have Wonder Woman, Justice League and Aquaman in the next two years. Gotham City Sirens will probably be ready before Ben Affleck's Batman and I guess this means the Suicide Squad sequel isn't on the immediate agenda. So with this I'd say Black Adam/Shazam is more likely in 2019 right now and one or both will probably feature Superman given recent rumours. I think this would mean MOS2 is likely not a priority at this stage (but it will happen) which is disapointing to me as a Superman fan first and foremost although seeing him in Black Adam and/or Shazam would be awesome.

So taking all into consideration I'd go with:

2017 Wonder Woman, Justice League
2018 Aquaman, Gotham City Sirens (possibly featuring appearances from Batman, Deadshot and the Joker)
2019 The Batman (with Deathstroke), Justice League Dark, Black Adam or Shazam (featuring Superman)
2020 Justice League 2 or MOS2, Green Lantern Corps, The Flash (featuring Cyborg)

Have I missed anything? Now I do get some of these releases might not happen (Wonder Woman, Justice League and Aquaman are obviously. Also I think Gotham City Sirens is definitely going to happen as is the Batman) or be replaced by potential 'safer' bets (e.g. Superman, Suicide Squad 2, etc).

Yeah, I mostly feel the same. It's Superman's story I'm really interested in.

Even though I wasn't a fan of Suicide Squad I really enjoyed the look and the very little insight into the characters.
Maybe on the second time around making the Joker as the threat is the way to go.
I wouldn't even replace Diablo without Enchantress and her bro, there'd be a bit more time for character development. There's no character I DISLIKE. I actually like them all , but personally want a better story.
I think it could be done pretty easy.

2019- Batman, Black Adam, MOS2
2020- Shazam, WW2, JL2
2021-Aquaman 2, Batman 2, Flash
2022- Green Lantern Corps, JL Dark, MOS3
2023- SS3, Batman 3, WW3
2024- Aquaman 3, Green Lantern Corp 2, Flash 2
2025- I'd rap up the series of flicks with one last team up movie.

Yeah, I think by peppering in Superman and also by the mere mention of him from heroes or villains in a movie reminds people of how powerful his presence is, even if not depicted on screen.

To me it's always mainly Superman.

True. It's not like he hasn't been on screen and seen by the public since 2013. I just think at some point you lose momentum for a solo after about 7 years or so. I think his appearance in JL is the key. I think there needs to be some momentum coming out of it.
