Since everyone else has one, I thought Djimon needs one too. As excited as I am that Korath makes an appearance in the MCU and that Djimon is finally cast in a superhero movie, I really wanted him as T'Chaka in a BP movie, which seems now unlikely.
But it's great to have him on board. Finally.

Unless his wearing a ton of make up in GoTG I doubt he will play T'Chaka in a BP movie now.

I think he can still appear in a BP movie. I highly doubt we'll actually see his face, it'll all be prosthetics/mo-cap/whatever. We already know Marvel were talking to Adewale (Kurse) about a separate role, along with one of the Howling Commandos

Can't wait to see Korath loved him and Ronan's relationship in the Annihilation Ronan mini

Wow, I NEVER thought I'd ever see the day when Korath the Pursuer of all people would appear in a movie.

Only stories I had read with Korath in them were Galactic Storm and Annihilation. Definitely never thought I'd see him in a movie either.

After seeing some of the toys and the trailer I'm starting to think Korath isn't Kree but Sakarran and that Sakarr is under Kree rule. Which would explain Ronan still being Kree.

Does Korath have any powers or special abilties/skills?

In the comics he was cyber-genetic engineered. He has superhuman strength, stamina, durability and can psionically locate individuals by tracing their brain patterns.

About what strength level, as in what super strong character has he been able to go toe to toe against.

He looks awesome in this trailer, hope his considered a new entity and not a Kree though.

Strange there isn't a reaction to changing him from blue to black

I know right? It's almost like people don't have quite the same attachment to a character who has made sporadic appearances through the years than they do to an iconic, founding character who has maintained a consistent appearance in print, animation and live action films for over half a century.

What I think he fails to understand is that Heimdall, Alicia Masters, and Korath are all obscure characters, as opposed to Johnny who is a beloved main character. Kingpin was made black b/c MCD (RIP) was the only actor who matched the physicality of the Kingpin. Fury was made black because having Samuel L. Jackson play Nick Fury was too good to pass up, even if it was inspired by Ultimates and Bryan Hitch.

Even then, apparently he fails to remember the **** stirred up in Scandanavia when Idris Elba was announced as Heimdall. There was a negative reaction there.

I'm black and even I'M upset with Johnny Storm being black, so there you have it.

Off topic, but is Sue black as well? Or are they not siblings? Or is one adopted?
I don't care what colour they are or if there's adoption, as long as he acts like what I expect Johnny Storm is supposed to act like.

Now Korath, flip me but I'm upset he's not blue!!!!

:D

You know why? I hate to say it but he's an obscure character. And if anyone denies it, they're just too close to the property to see that.

So there's some leeway with Korath.

EDIT: The other guys beat me to the punch.

Which faded after a few weeks.

Hank Pym who is not an obscure character has been changed from a mid-thirties character to a mid-eighties character and the angry reaction too faded, after a few weeks. The reaction to Johnny's casting has been going since August last year.

If they keep Korath Kree and have him black yet not have his difference acknowledged by Ronan then it will be even a more backwards decision than making Torch black.
That would mean the entire characterization of the Kree would be turned on its head being as they are the blue minority which sees itself superior to any other Kree.

I'd rather they have changed Korath into a borg programmed for pursuing, or something to that extent.

I'm not even entirely sure they're going to directly refer to Ronan as Kree, so Korath's species is probably unlikely to come up.

Ruul Kree can shapeshift, but if they aren't going to mention Kree than I doubt that will even come up.

I hope they mention the Kree, maybe a reference to the Supreme Intelligence. :D

I'd love to see the Korath lead the Special Ops Elite Kree from All New Invaders. They look awesome.
