Finally got around to issue #2 last night. It still feels like it's in set-up mode, but I really enjoyed it so far. That character reveal at the end... I'm not sure how I feel about that. We'll have to see where it goes.

Which means an even longer wait until the collection is released. :csad:

Although, there's a silver lining from Gary Frank's Twitter that the bi-monthly release schedule could give them enough of a cushion to get back to monthly by the time they start wrapping up.

I'm curious to know how that's going to effect the publishing schedule for all of the other books, considering that the rest of the DCU books were supposed to be caught up to Doomsday Clock for it's last issue. Now it's going to last another year.

Okay, so #3 was excellent. Can't wait for [BLACKOUT]The Joker[/BLACKOUT] to show up.

So the actors from the article at the end are supposed to be DC universe versions of Veidt, Eddie and Walter? Colman would be Jon?... Ah, can't wait to see how it all fits!

Issue 4 was just delayed until the end of March. Here we go. Hope it’s not like a DK3 were delays took it forever to finish

I read The Button collected edition yesterday and I'm also glad that I waited.

    I like that explanation.

So presumably The Doomsday Clock collected edition should pick straight up from The Button?

Have mercy on a poor Marvel fan. I read little D.C., but I have read Watchmen which was why I jumped on this. What is The Button and how badly do I need to read it?

Have you read the original DC Rebirth one-shot that kick-started the whole Rebirth arc?

Okay. I don't know how much you want me to spoil the one-shot or whether you're likely to read it yourself (it's pretty important as it sets up a load of stuff that gets referred back to at various times). As a broad outline, events lead Batman and Flash to believe that the ten years that we know the New 52 wiped out of DC continuity were actually stolen by someone/something. At the conclusion of the one-shot Batman discovers an object in the Batcave that shouldn't be there but which means nothing to him - however it does mean a helluva lot to anybody who has read Watchmen. The Button is a four issue (two Batman, two Flash) narrative that follows Batman and the Flash on an investigation into that object. Oh, and it'll help if you've read Flashpoint too. Hope that helps

Ah, I see. I'll have to see if my guy has all that or if he can get them for me. Thanks. :)

No worries. As far as Flashpoint is concerned there's no need to read the tie-ins, just the main central story which is available in a collected edition. That plus the original Rebirth one-shot and you're good to go into The Button :yay:
