It is too soon. I don't want him used unless they actually kill Superman in a film. It's Doomsday's purpose as a character and anything less takes hugely from him.

He's out-and-out a physical villain too, so only Superman could really go toe-to-toe with him. Not the right villain for a Superman/Batman film.

Batman could still fight Lex/His Henchmen, while Supes is off fighting Doomsday.

If Doomsday shows up, I preferred he be driven from the field to somewhere else or captured by somebody pretty nefarious like Darkseid. I wouldn't mind seeing he's a scale of threat beyond even a Kryptonian, but I think he'd need a Justice League-crushing rampage where Superman being the last man standing is more of an oh crap moment for the audience because we're fairly certain he's a dead man.

To me, Doomsday would be the way to go if this were to be a "trilogy." But it would have to take place after the Justice League was established.
Superman saves the day from some threat (like Brainiac) but only finds out about the imprisoned monster. Killing Doomsday (or Darkseid, I really want him in there) ties the MOS saga full circle. The first film establishes that he's willing to kill if absolutely necessary, the second shows that he tries to find another way, and the third shows him understanding that what he did was neccesary in part one, but also shows him trying to control the collateral damage and save the civvies.

In other words, acts two and three absolve Superman of the guilt presented at the end of act one, in different ways.

This would make my year. Not sure how Batman & Superman originally cross paths, but perhaps they pit Bruce vs. Lex and Supes vs. Doomsday. It's never been done on film before (even in The Dark Knight Rises, Batman isn't dead)...but what if at the end of the film, Superman was dead at the hands of Doomsday? Bats thwarts Luthor, but Supes & Doomsday are dead, setting up the Return of the Supermen storyline for Part 3?

Take my money.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Doomsday based on that screen, well, not surprised to see him in a later film, but I very much doubt they'd have batman and superman meet and then have Supes face a villain that batman can do nothing to combat. very much doubt we'll see Doomsday.

Doomsday...the one villain Superman SHOULD kill....it will be ridiculous if they don't let him kill him. Doomsday is a soulless monster, not even humanoid in appearance. If Snyder invokes the "no kill policy" for Doomsday yet lets Superman kill Zod, I'm going to be pissed. Should be the other way around but I have a feeling it won't be.

One of the few scenes i hate. It is just so lazy but i guess the avarage kid watching it had no idea of who Sinestro is.
