kyodai was bruces rival when they he was training in japan as a teen.

NO that is incorrect. Bruce is 30 years old now. The age difference between the two is about 15-17 years. If he is still a baby. By the time he dawns the robin costume from age 17 - 24 Bruce will be about 47-53.

If James Jr. is a baby, and this is Batman's first year of crime fighting- then Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon are each around 10 years old.

Barbara was signifigantly older than James Jr. and joined the caped crusader around his 5th year, when she was about 15.

Dick Grayson, became Robin in Batman's third year, when he was about 13-14.

So, if this is Batman's first year (BATMAN BEGINS) than Dick and Babs are each preteens.
