This is a thread where you can tell everyone about your most awesome, random, craziest dreams, or worst nightmares, or just talk about dreaming in general.

I just have a question, has anyone tried lucid dreaming? It's where if you're dreaming and suddenly realise you're dreaming, everything will become vivid and you can do anything you want.

Yesterday I had a dream that I was at a pool and flirting with Megan Fox...she liked me and we went swimming together; her boyfriend was mad. It was weird cause I don't think I like Megan fox that much, maybe my subconscious mind likes her?

I also had a dream that I went to lunch with these people I dont know..I go to their house to eat. Their parents end up being rednecks and they try to kill me. Im in the middle of a forest so I try super jumping out but the redneck daddy was super jumping after me....I have weird dreams

here are my first experience with lucidity:

I stared out in bed. At first I did a RC, by hitting myself on the arm and cheek... no pain. I then yell out "attain Lucidity!"... nothing. I then try turning on my light... nothing. At first I was a little bummed out, but then I said to myself "I was gonna do something... I was gonna FLY." With a big smile on my face I open my window, and climb into this absolutely beautiful forest with beautiful trees, and it was sunset, and as much as I loved it, I said to myself "We've gotta change this setting, because I wanted to fly like Superman... and IN the Superman suit." I change it to a city road, and there's a huge picture in the background of Brandon Routh in the Superman suit from Superman Returns. I can't really fly too high, maybe because it's my first lucid dream, but I'm not really sure. I continue to fly and see certain people in need of help. I go and try to save them, but they end up saving themselves. I then meet Joker who sticks gum on my back and causes me to not fly. I jumped around, and then met a few people at some kind of party. I even got to meet a guy that I know on another forum.

I then wanted to get on the frisky side with some of the DCs... I didn't know who she was, but I didn't care... It was my LD . I met her, but the scene was just wrong... I wanted to be back in the forest that I started out at. I tried to get back there, but when I tried, I ended up being on a road in the dark. I think that should of been my first sign that I was losing it, but unfortunately, I was still too much into the dream. For some reason, I'm then on what looks like to be the set of some movie. They're beautiful women all around me, and the movie was playing out like a bad suspense movie. LOL, I even saw this one girl jump from a side of what looked like a playground set, and I was gonna catch her, but I decided not to. She hits the ground, sits up, then has this terrified look on her face, and then falls over dead. That's not what I wanted, though. I changed the setting, and tried to change it to the first forest I went into as much as possible, but to no avail, I couldn't succeed. I ended up just getting rid of the houses, and getting it as green as possible. I had just started getting jiggy with this girl, until everything started going blurry...

I then woke up, but it was a false awakening, because my sister and cousin were there. I first I didn't know it, and my sis was telling me "You gotta get up and go places" and At first I'm like, okay, but then the better part of me gets to me. I ask her "are you sure I'm awake?", and she doesn't answer. i then perform a RC by hitting myself again. No pain... I then float up into the air. then I turn to my sis and cousin, laugh and say "how can I be awake if I'm floating in the air?" I go back to the ground. I walk down a well lit hallway and some girl is washing two dogs. One big dog looked just fine, but the other was was a Chihuahua, and had the most skinniest legs I had ever seen. I didn't know what to think of it at first. I ask the lady"how does that little dog walk?"

then I woke up.

i had a lucid dream about a year ago, i was in my town but closer to my grandmas house, well i slept over my grandmas and awoke to darkness and this post apocoliptic setting, i walked outside and cars were flipped over houses were burning down, trees had fallen over, people lying dead all cut beaten and half eating. my grandma in real life lives next to a hospital, so in my dream i tried to find refuge there, when i walked in i so my family members and friends but they were thees zombie like creatures and they all went after me, i ran like hell but i couldn't outrun...

than i had a bit of sleep paralysis, i was half asleep half awake, so i couldn't move bit but i was still seeing the zombies from my dream in real life, but they weren't there they were projections of my dream in my right brain mixing with reality of my left.

its called old hag syndrome or sp for short.... i hate it i get that and lucid dreams too often, an when they combine, omg its buggin.

when I was six I had a dream that scared the crap out of me:



I was walking into my bedroom at about 12:30 I picked up a toy airplane and started playing with it. Then I heard some creaking in my parents bedroom.(keep in mind that my parents bedroom was right across the hall from mine) I looked around and all I could hear was shuffling around so I peeked into their bathroom. Nope. Nothing there. I checked under the bed. Still nothing. So I checked by the closet but not in it yet(The closet doors at that time were only opened twice in my entire life, so I really have no Idea what was in there) I heard heavy breathing from the other side of the closet but it wasn't human breathing something like a creature of somesort or maybe a man with serious nose stuffing. I peeped through the lines of the closet and all I could see was a dark brown substance with scales possibly then I opened he closet door and two not one but two velociraptors jumped from the closet. Knocking me back about ten feet. Well I was just stunned that something soo scary was hiding in my parents closet that I couldn't react in time. My Parents were in the living room watching a old 30's flick can't remember what movie though. The Raptors came storming out of the bedroom and in selfdefense I jumped on the back of one a pounded my fist on the Raptor's back but it threw me off and I was knocked out and the only thing left in my dream was screaming....screaming....and screaming........

I had an...interesting one, to sat the least:

A couple of nights ago, I dreamed I was at an Alice Cooper concert. I went to the restroom. I opened the bathroom door, and stepped into downtown of my hometown. I was near a really old cluster of cathedral/churches.

I decided to poke around, and wound up being chased through the old churches/cathedrals by demons.

Strange.

I once dreamt that all my teeth fell out and then my parents took me to the meat section in the supermarket to sew them back on, but instead they started to buy frozen chicken breasts. Some people have told me this dream means death, but so far (about 3 years) nothing has happened.

There's more weird dreams, but for some reason I can't seem to remember them completely, just some key moments.

creepy,once i had a dream was in jp whe the t rex broke out i jumped on top of the t rex and shot it to death,blew it brains out,then i turned around and there was another t rex right there then i it came down and i was in its mouth,it hadn't bit down yet,then as it was about to bite i woke up

I quite often dream of being able the levitate or fly. The only problem, is in the dream, I can't get people to pay attention when I'm trying to show them what I can do. Weird, huh?

But since everyone's on the topic of dinosaur dreams...

I was five years old when I had the most vivid dream that I remember (I can still recall it even now). My parents and I were driving to mall (my dad drove a Honda Civic by the way). But at the mall was a T-REX! Eek!

The cops tried to shoot it and I went up the stairs to escape the gunfire and chaos (ha, where the hell are my parents?) and I kept going up the spiraling staircase and they just disappeared. I fell, woke up in the living room, and there are my parents watching a nature program on TV.

I got 2:

I have this reoccurring dream, but it stopped when I got out of high school years back. I'm pretty good at basketball. So when I dream I always was in my gym class and they were on the court playing basketball. I join in and they pass me the ball and I can't wait to show my skills off, yet every time I get the ball I slip. It's like the court is made off ice. I can't even dribble. The ball eventually gets stolen. Then it'll happen over and over again till I wake up.

And this one is the only nightmare I remember having:

I would wake up and be in this dark gritty looking city. In fact it looked exactly like the city in the Super Mario Brothers movie lol. Well, everybody who inhabited the city was screaming and running away. I looked down the path and noticed that the whole city was rolling up into this giant ball made out of concrete as if it was charging to shoot at us. And for some reason I thought that when this ball starts to roll it would be the end of civilization. So I started jumping up to these platforms. And then it ended. And I woke up. My heart was beating 30 milles a minute.

Theres also 2 more which involves me flying around(got those after watching Superman Returns last summer)

and a strange one of my cousin living in the forest juggling a washing machine with his legs.

last night, I dreamed that the Simpsons and Love & Marriage were combined into one to make this weird town that was floating on thin strips of dirt... kinda reminded me of a Dr Seuss book.
