The Eighties are back Take me home tonight

I was gonna see it sunday but got hit up with a minor case of food poising the night before and spent my entire day off in bed....yay. I hope to see it next week, looks good.

Wow the movie bombed hard. :(

it probably would have done better if it was rated PG-13, but that would mean that a lot of stuff would have been cut out

i actually read that was the reason the movie was shelved for so long because of the drug use

Saw this movie today. It's really funny. This movie is very similar to Superbad.

saw it today, the only thing that I thought was pretty damn lame is the song "Take Me Home Tonight" is missing from the movie, but used in the trailers .

still a good movie, did not even RECOGNIZE Michelle Tractenberg as the goth chick :).

Not even in the end credits? :csad:

Finally got to see this last night. Loved the movie. It struck all the right chords. Did a great job of giving an 80s fix without beating you over the head with it. I can't believe the studio wanted to cut the cocaine use. It was kind of a plot point through the movie. And it's not like it was treated nonchalantly. It was made a big deal by the characters, and its presence had repercussions.

Acting wise, everyone just gelled. Topher, Teresa, Anna, and Dan all had great chemistry. Dan and Michael Beihn really stole it for me. Michael had some of the best moments in the film, and there were plenty to go around. Anna needs to step out of the typecasting more. She was really good.

Really wished this movie had done better BO numbers, but hopefully it'll do ok with the home release.
