Figured now would be as good a time as any to make this. :woot:

Can't wait to finally see Hope in costume, though a huge part of me still wishes we would've gotten that in the first. I can understand why they held off of it, though.

Daviz Lopez did a potential suit from X-23 based on the Wasp suit. Perhaps when completed it'll resemble this.

That's not a bad concept, actually, though I'll save my full reservations for once I can see the finalized product.

Yes very much looking forward to seeing her in costume.

She's such a beautiful woman and they gave her pretty terrible look in the first movie. I hope they do something about it this time. She can look much-much better.

I honestly don't see what was wrong with her appearance in the first film?

I think she looks way better with rougher, more natural-looking hair.

Neck-length hair THAT straight has always been an awkward style to me. I had the same issue with Claire in Jurassic World: her more natural appearance towards the end of the film (following her action scenes) was a more attractive appearance IMO

That haircut doesn't suit her at all. Maybe something rougher or casual would work better, maybe getting rid of fringe. I get it, that's what HVD wears in comics, but I don't think it's that iconic, so they can certainly move from that a bit.

So what will be her powers besides shrinking? Will she have the stinger blasts?

Most likely have the stingers blasts. I will take that. She gives much needed variety to the female heroes of the MCU. So far, apart from Wanda they are pretty much just Black Widow clones.

I don't think it's a bad haircut, personally, but it's definitely not flattering to Lily and I think it's a very "professionally stoic" hairstyle. It lends itself to an unsmiling businesswoman like she was supposed to be for most of the first film. In the sequel maybe they could change up the hairdo to reflect her somewhat changed attitude toward Hank and Scott by the end of the first. It's not like Black Widow's hairstyle hasn't changed...in every single movie she's been in so far...

I may be the only person who thought it looked fine. I thought giving her a bob was a nice shout out to the original Wasp.

Same here on both.

it was a good substitution for the costume. I could tell exactly who she was supposed to be; from the haircut alone.

BTW this is the design they're doing in the TV show. So I guess possibly an idea of what the suit in the movie'll look like.

Agreed wholly, especially after re-watching the film earlier today. In fact, I feel like of all the hairstyles I've seen Evangeline sport, the bob actually seems to fit her best.

David Lopez. :hrt: That man can turn everything he touches into gold. Yes please, I want Hope's costume look like this in the movie, it's far better than the Ant-Man's end credit scene design.

I mean, not that a better costume will stop her from being dull, but at least she'll be cool to look at. :o

Well, the suit in the end credit scene is pretty much just a prototype so it wasn't meant to have a mind-blowing design, per se.

Glad to hear that this will be a true co-starring deal. Hope and Lang have enough meat to both be integral characters with their own arcs.
