Hope another Wasp film gets the green light after Avengers 4 comes out.
These Marie Claire pics! <3
I loved it when we had the Kate vs. Boyd scene... shes amazing in these two films.
She is such a queen. And shes more than qualified to be an avengers.
Shes absolutely right, if she had been there in civil war things would have been better for everyone
I need to have her babies.
Exactly. Hollywood seems to have double standards when it comes to certain movie roles. It's pretty much like this "We can hire older actors for parts like this. But older actresses, nope can't do it. Bring on the early 20-something year olds." For instance a few years ago, Maggie Gyllenhaal(who was 37 at the time) got turned down for a role because she was considered too old to play the love interest of a 55 year man. Hell in 2012 Olivia Wilde was told that she was too old to play Leonardo DiCaprio's lover in Wolf Of Wall Street and she hadn't even turned 30 yet.
Glad they actually hired an actress that was at least 30 for Hope rather than an early to mid 20s actress that's young enough to be Paul Rudd's daughter.
Evangeline knows it too, that's why in many interviews she had expressed her gratitude of being cast as a superhero, in the most successful movie franchise in Hollywood. Marvel is willing to cast female actress like her instead of going for young women is one of the reasons why they're successful.
BBC Radio 1 interview:
She was really cool.
Should be illegal for any one woman to be that damn stunning.
Omg....those pics are incredible. I love and always have loved her since...Lost. I guess. Havent seen her in much of anything other than the hobbit. I really love her in the marvel films. By far her best work. Shes so awesome.
The Wasp is another breakout character for Marvel, she stole the movie and I hope we see her in not only a 3rd but also in the next couple of Avengers movies, Evie is so good in this role and was brilliant on the promotional tour, her enthusiasm created a lot of positive energy.
Brilliantly well said, hunter. I hope (lol) she eventally becomes a leader of a team of Avengers while Carol leads another.
At the the Tokyo premiere.
