The Family Guy Movie

They're about 7 years too late. Ratings and popularity are fairly low now. They missed the window of the mid-to-late '00s where you couldn't go anywhere without seeing Family Guy. Still, The Simpsons managed to crank out a decent movie when the show was well past its prime, and Family Guy does manage to crank out the occasional funny joke once in a while, so who knows?

Let's seem, films tend to be 82 minutes, and they could probably use 40 minutes of Conway Twitty footage and 20 minutes for a chickenfight, leaving them with 22 minutes to fill. I think it can work.

Who carea about a family guy animated film, give me live action! Its about time one of theae cartoons delivered on the challenge of going live action.

Hard pass. Would've crapped my pants if this news hit when I was 13 tho.

I hope it's 2 hours of Mickey Rooney yelling at rats and eating his scabs.

Also 8 minutes of eighties references and the other 14 minutes of Brian/Seth on his soapbox.

I'm in a very small camp but I'd rather see an American Dad movie

I did like the Ted movies, but FG just doesn't have it anymore. I don't think FG even lends itself well to a feature film format.

The novelty of making a movie out of a show is that they could get away with stuff they couldn't do on TV, like the South Park movie did. But the Family Guy episodes are all uncensored on the DVDs anyway, so there's no selling point there.

Nope. Sorry but back around 2008 this would have been a great idea, but now not so much. Family Guy fell harder than The Simpsons when it fell from grace.

Shut uppa your face :argh:

I'd watch it on Netflix or whatever but I feel no need to see it in the theater. I liked the Stewie movie but that was several years ago and a DTV thing anyways.

With another 10 minutes of this

They already made one. It was called the Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story.

That was a Direct to Video movie. It is not considered a proper movie because it was not shown in theaters.

Family Guy was never good to begin with IMAO.

Though it did have some funny moments, Stewie & Brian team up episodes in particular. MacFarlane should have just put the focus more on that relationship than Peter & friends.

Stewie and Brian have always had the best parts of the show. If this movie is about them again then it raises my opinion of it but still not enough to pay theater ticket prices.

I'd like to see a crossover of the wacky breakout characters on an adventure. Brian, Stewie, Roger and Klaua.

I'd like a road trip movie with Peter, Joe, Quagmire and Cleveland.
