Can someone tell me: when Thing throws the tank head at the soldiers in the film, does it explode and disappear like it did in all the trailers?

I was watching tv last night when an ad popped up for the Fantastic 4 movie and the lead in was a picture of the Marvel logo, no Fox logo, and then the next words to display on the screen with narrator's voice, 'From the studio that brought you X-Men DoFP...' Sucks that they can say stuff like that. I know every studio does this sort of thing but it almost makes me want to not like X-Men because of that. It was a sad moment.

That's clearly deception! I wish Marvel/Disney could sue for that.
they despise marvel yet they'll use their brand recognition to try and trick people into see their crappy half-assed excuse of a rights grab movie. Fox is the scum of the earth.
Fox also had radio commercials that mentioned Marvel but not Fox, in an effort to confuse the listeners thinking that the same studio who made AOU and Ant-Man made FFINO as well. It's an underhanded tactic for sure.
While the government was monitoring him, we see that exact scene

It's disgraceful. I hope the GA doesn't fall for this crap.
Seriously I think the majority of the GA is savvy enough to note the diff between Marvel Studios publicity and... whatever this one was.I thought I had read someone else say.....that scene was seen on a video screen being watched by someone, not on the full theater screen as an actual moment. Is that true?

If Friday's BO is anything to go by, they ain't.Seriously I think the majority of the GA is savvy enough to note the diff between Marvel Studios publicity and... whatever this one was.
I saw the Fox logo, it flashes right before the Marvel logo.

Some spots have it, some don't.
Well, Marvel probably benefited slightly from X-Men: DOFP's success in terms of brand recognition. Thats considered by the GP as a Marvel movie too. Goes both ways I guess.
Don't think Marvel will take a hit from this; their brand is strong with good audience reception for AOU and Ant-Man (both A). Though I am pretty pissed by Fox's deception and conduct.

Yes, the government types are all watching surveillance footage of the thing when they show that. They cut away from it real quick to hide the crappy cgi.
Wow.Thanks.......so, at least 2 of the "money shots" from the commercials to get people excited for the action (Thing dropping from chopper and Thing destroying tank) are either completely missing or put on a smaller computer screen and are not actual movie set pieces of action.
