Batman with white eyes. Personally, I thought it was awesome, and there use was incredible.
What did anyone else think?

I thought Bale killed Batman by the way he talked. It realy took away from every scene he was in unfortunately :\

As cool as it was to see them, I felt like Nolan tried too hard to give Batman more high-tech gadgets in this movie since that was one of the complaints about Begins. Some of the gadgets seen towards the end of the film just seemed a little too over-the-top and outlandish. That's my only real complaint about the movie though, overall I loved it.

Please tell me its better then the way he talked as Batman during the final act of Begins ? That was horrendous especially when talking to Rachel on the roof

Bale was amazing as Batman in this times two compared to alot of BB, no complaints there.

It had the OMGZ KEWL factor. But I'd rather prefer no lenses.

Lenses for the win. At least one damn movie where his suit has the lenses on for the majority or the film, one...just one movie at least.

The whole sequence with the lenses was amazing imo. I'm glad it was in the movie.

I think the lenses should be shaded though, looks cool but not practical in the dark, especially when he is surrounded by enemies.

The fact that they were round put me off. It would have been cool if they had made it sharper like in the comics/cartoons though.

Yeah the way they looked wasn't amazing, but I love that it was in the movie.

the lenses were good, but it had its benefits as well as its disadvantages, both of which were shown in the film.

i think we can all come up with the logical conclusion that when it comes to fighting, unhindered sight is the best option.

There's always going to be criticism. It's a natural thing especially in a movie of this type where everyone has in their head exactly what they think is the perfect vision for a Batman movie. No one could ever hope to satisfy everyone. I think we got as close as you're gonna get with this movie.

I'm an old school fanboy. Didn't like the suit when I saw the pics but it worked well in the film. Don't really like Bale's Batman voice that much but I understand why it's necessary. Hated the Batpod. But it works in the film I guess. Although the flipsy doodles with the tires still make me shake my head.
It was a terrible concept for a bike. the ejection from the Tumbler looked cheesy. But I won't dwell on that because it doesn't matter. this film is about characters and plot. It's about 5 men and a woman fighting for the soul of a city they love. and the cost that love demands. it's about the burden of the mantle of the Bat. And in that it hits the mark dead on.

Isn't this also the first Batman movie where the character DOESN'T reveal his identity to someone?

Not until the next one...lol^
I think some people try to hard to FIND an excuse to say the lenses shouldn't be there.
I hated them when i saw them in that crappy few seconds TV spot but was really surprised how they looked in the movie. Some of you are forgetting that while Batman is all about stealth and shadows, he's also mainly about INTIMIDATION GAMES. I mean if you must really have to dig up and have a reason behind them as is the trend now sadly in Nolan's films, you can just give it to the main fact that they help him see in the dark. For a guy who spends most his time in the shadows, he is still a human, and we DON'T have nighvision, therefor the lenses are needed, specially for accuracy and aim in critical situations. There's also the goddamn main reason all you lense haters love to ignore and class as silly, he needs them to protect his eyes, his most important aspect of his face, and the one thing left very vulnerable. Look at BB when Scarecrow gassed him, first thing he did was he threw his hands in front of his face covering his eyes. That's one scenario, the others could be stabbing, fire, maybe even ice (who knows).

I loved the lenses, actually. I'm glad they reserved them for that specific scene however.

That's kinda what i always wanted to see, retractable lenses. I was worried though that since people hated it on Green Goblin in S-M they might not like it here. Also i'been longing for white lenses forever. I would have done them semi transparent so you can see his eyes in close-ups through the lenses, more creepy factor/emotions and when from far you get that intimidating creepy/cool look. I think it could be the best way to do it other than retractable.
