Gwen.

I'm sick to death of MJ. That goes for the comic books, too.

Gwen.

But whoever it is, please don't make it like it's Peter's first and only love since he was 6 years old. That's beyond nerd.

I'd introduce Peter in high school and show him falling in love with Gwen Stacy, but not dating her. Later in the film, introduce Mary Jane Watson like they did when Anna Watson and Aunt May conspired to set Peter and MJ up. After both Gwen and MJ have been introduced, it doesn't matter to me who he dates.

he's in high school, he's a kid that wants to be recognised and like any normal kid he's not initially going to target one girl and fall deeply in love with her. Throw in Liz and Betty just like it was in the comics. Lets see Peter's relationships mature and evolve, lets see girls who initially rejected him because it was the cool thing to do, evolve and get to see peter for more than what he's perceived to be.

gwen... Gwen... GWEN... GWEN!!!!!... Sweet.. Beeoootiful.. Angel.... GWEN!!!! *hyperventalates* :woot:... ummm.... "Gwen"

Seriously.. Like in the comics, Peter should be a nerdy kid that Gwen is the one that notices there is more to this Peter Parker.

I think with Gwen they should blend in her 616 and Ultimate personality together.

Say she is the new girl, but everybody knows she was kicked out of her last school for unknown reasons. She appears as though butter wouldn't melt, and Peter is asked by the principal to help her get settled in.

They get along quite well, until she and Peter are picked on by Flash and his buddies. Things turn out worse as everybody guesses why Gwen was kicked out of school...she pulls out a knife and threatens Flash.

She is misunderstood however, and Peter is the only one who see's that. Gwen is a good kid,but after a traumatic experience with criminals that her dad dealt with, she has carried a knife ever since for protection.

Of course she would feel safe knowing her boyfriend is Spider-Man.

But neither her or Peter know yet that him being Spider-Man and being with her is the most unsafest thing imaginable...

Whoever the first love is, I don't want that showing up in this movie. Parker shouldn't be tied down to onegina. That's the mistake Raimi made although it worked as a story for that trilogy.

Gwen... And they shouldn't be afraid to kill her off at the end of 2 either.

Isn´t there an other oppurtonity?
I would like to put more than one, what about Liz Allen and gwen stacy? Liz appeared first.

God only knows who is the love interest, cause Im completely stumped on where theyre taking the whole thing now.

I want Gwen to be in movie one, with Mary-Jane as a passing flirtation.

In movie two, I want Peter and Gwen to be all out in love and have the film culminate with her death, but have Mary-Jane and Peter (and Gwen, Harry, etc) all become much closer friends.

By the end of movie three, Peter and Mary-Jane are now together, and the death of Gwen had something to do with this....maybe even end the trilogy on the same kind of note as Spider-man: Blue where it is understood that Peter had TWO loves of his life. That Gwen was the first and he still loves and misses her, but he's moved on and now loved MJ and she is fine with knowing this, because she loves and misses her friend, too.

Kinda one of those "duh" polls, ya know?

Please can we stay away from the Ultimate version?

I don't want any knife-pulling-outings.

I like Gwen to be that sweet girl you can take home to mother, but in his case, Aunt.
Mary Jane really contrasts that, although Aunt May really likes MJ.

I liked Gwen in Spider-Man 3 actually, sweet, bubbly, friendly, beautiful and intelligent.

I didn't like how Gwen was almost portrayed as 'the other woman' in SM3. Although Bryce never played it like that.

And yeah I like the idea of Peter having these TWO loves of his life, who are both distinct from each other but very important.

I totally want the 616 classic version of characters, when John Romita was drawing.

/\... Two things.

1) Welcome to the hype!

2) I couldn't agree more.

Aw thanks, it's good to know someone agrees with my thoughts.

I just really want to see the classic 616 version of characters and storylines since we didn't really get that with the Raimi films, it was more of a mixture with ultimate.

Gwen, simply because she came before MJ.

At least give references or cameos to Liz Allan and Debra Whitman, but Gwen should be numero uno.

Meet in college, go to parties because of Harry's growing popularity, show them casually getting along, then spark igniting.

Plus I think by doing the Death of the Stacys story arc, we could have some great films. Maybe they won't be perfect, but they can try.

Think Capt. Stacy should be killed in movie 2 by falling debris, or some other way the writers can think of, and have the third be TDoGS.

But hey, that's just me lol

This.

Green Goblin killing Gwen (well, technically Peter did) would make for an amazing & risky movie....do it.

& I don't care if Rachel died in TDK. 1.) She died in an explosion, no where near as brutal as how Gwen dies & 2.) No one liked Rachel.
