    Having the original family in the solo film is what is best. It is comic book accurate and differentiates itself from the TV show..

    IRA WEST the scientist should be Iris West's father. Wally West should be Iris West's nephew.

    That is true. But introducing characters before they get their powers would be nice. Like Wally for example.

    Non-powered characters:

    -Wally (he could get his powers in a future film).
    -Jay Garrick (mostly retired ex-speedster).
    -Joan Garrick.
    -Iris West (I'd prefer that her and Barry already be married/dating, but I kind of doubt that this will be the case).
