s2 was the sharpest nosediveThe Flash had such a strong first two seasons, it just has been on decline since, with some peaks here and there for me personally. I feel like this season of Arrow has been the best of the CW shows so far.
You'd have thought it would've been easier just to take an actual photograph.Stephen's head photoshopped onto Grant's body is hilarious.

One thing I am … confused by; I thought the swap was going to be more a multiverse thing (in that there was going to be an Earth out there where Barry was the Green Arrow and Ollie was the Flash, but it instead seems as though they've literally switched places. Now, as interesting as that is, they're going to make poor heroes; Ollie has no experience of the speedforce, and knowing how Barry can't throw a punch to save his life, how are we (or how is anyone) expected to believe he can successfully fire an arrow?
Well it seems as though Ollie will have access to the speedforce (why else wear the red flash suit) but he's no speedster; everything Barry has learnt in the last 3-4 years, Ollie doesn't know how to handle for himself. There was a story in the late 90s where Kyle Rayner and Wally West briefly body-swapped. I can't recall the issue, but Kyle was unable to access the speed force. IIRC, Kyle and Wally were pretty much stuck until Alan and Jay intervened.

We've seen snapshots of Ollie as the Flash, and Barry as the Green Arrow, but neither of them can realistically do what the other can. Sure, Ollie (induced with the Speedforce) could run really fast, but Barry firing an Arrow and actually hitting his target? Nah. Ollie running around is more likely to trip himself up or accidentally go forward/backwards in time before actually doing something right. At least, that should be the case.![]()
It'll be a fun three episodes, that's for sure. I don't know what's going to cause the identify swap either, but I do wonder (being that the swap will happen on Earth 1) whether Kara will see them as who they are, or who they were (who they actually are); her being from a different Earth and all. It's like if Barry changes the timeline on Earth-1, it shouldn't (or doesn't?) effect what happens on Earth-38.Oh, I'm expecting a healthy dose of problems like that and/or them having to rely on their reputations to diffuse situations, ala Supergirl after her solar flare.
I guess I spoke too soon. Hah.That also helps answer the question above: Barry clearly has Green Arrow's skill set here. So I guess it will similarly be like muscle memory with Ollie and the speed force.
I was wondering that too. I'm guessing it's just a mindswap thing with their elseworld doppelgangers. So maybe there's a chance we'll still see actors playing the other personality (in the forms of Earth-1 Barry and Oliver) like some were hoping.I guess I spoke too soon. Hah.
Now I'm curious about something else; do Diggle, Iris (and co) see Ollie as Ollie and Barry as Barry, or do they see Ollie as Barry, and Barry as Ollie; to elaborate on that, whilst (we can see) which actor is portraying which character, do they look the same to everyone else? When Barry looks into a mirror, does he see Ollie? Have they physically swapped places, or just … emotionally/psychologically switched places; like a soul swap I guess?
There's screen caps of them in their proper gear too, so presumably there will be scenes of them as themselves, it's just... I don't know how much (if any) of this crossover actually takes place on Earth-1. It's certainly going to be an interesting few episodes.I was wondering that too. BUT, consider this: We haven't seen how they're behaving as their "proper" selves yet. So maybe their Earth-1 versions have the personalities of the ones from this new Earth. The possibilities are endless! There's screen caps of them in their proper gear too, so presumably there will be scenes of them as themselves, it's just... It seems my suspicions were correct!

Well the EW article made it sound like Supergirl is called in because she’s the only one who sees Barry and Oliver for who they actually are, which makes me think her Earth is, at least initially, unaffected by these Elseworld shenanigans. So now I’m a little doubtful we’ll get one of these short teasers with her, and we may very well get the full trailer on Sunday instead.
I've been skipping all of CW shows last Season and this Season. But I guess I might watch Arrow if it's really worth watching. How are Legends this Season?
