Why would they delay the release date?

Seems highly unlikely, given its on a different network. Which is part of why I boggle at the whole idea. If they wanted to do a Teen Titans show, why not wait a few years and put it on the network that *actually has sidekicks of established heroes as a thing*?

Exactly. They wouldn't have to search for Roy or Slade, they could just use Arrow's actors already in the role. That show must be getting a high special effects budget, to do Starfire, Raven, Beastboy and Cyborg.
