The finale brought me to tears..... twice.

Really? Only twice? Because I was pretty much a mess the entire episode, give or take a few moments.

I'm pretty sure they'll introduce Jay because they just spat his friggin helmet out of a wormhole, they wouldn't show the iconic headwear if they didn't have plans to use Jay.

They pretty much have to at this point. Always wanted to see somebody wear that hat.

Holy ****, that episode was epic and this season was a major success. Damn, that ending...

So many tears; the prison scene, his mom, and everything with Joe.

Tears, Joy, and Epic... couldn't have asked for more.

Haven t seen the episode yet, but I was wondering, do we see Future Barry (the one from the Original timeline) in this episode? After all, Barry is going to go back in time and see his mom.

That scene was just heartbreaking, all the buildup to it through the entire episode and sprinkled throughout previous episodes made it so incredibly sad.

see now since you guys are saying the writers can change anything cause of the ending.... and if Captain Cold is going to a be a good guy and scooted over to Legends than that could be that they are planning to have another ice based villain like......maybe... KILLER FROST!!that would really jack with Barry's mind! hmmmmm

For a character I've never got into (Batman guy, not big on superheroes), I gave this show the benefit of the doubt and it has single handily exceeded my love of Arrow and might be the coolest non Batman thing I've ever seen in tv/film.

Im in the same boat as antsman. Only im a big superman nerd. I know nothing about the flash or any other hero really. Im not a comic reader but I fell in love with the '78' superman and every other tv/movie incarnation since. So I decided to watch the Flash because I had no other shows to watch atm. Now after 23 episodes I can safely say the Flash and superman are on even leveling for me. I am mesmerized by this show and the character of the flash. This show puts smallville to shame and makes me wish superman had been given the same respect during the smallville years.

Seriously, this show knows how to do superhero tv. I'm also very interested to see how Tom Cavanaugh will stay on board. Weren't there some set pics released a while back of both Tom and Barry in suit lounging against some railing having what looked like an amicable talk? I thought that was a scene, but maybe they were just on break, still, I'm not sure now.

I'm also incredibly curious to see what event started Thawne's adversarial relationship with the Flash to begin with.

So many questions! Gah, it's going to be a long summer.

I think they were just taking a break from filming a scene, which I believe was the scene where Wells abducts Eddie before he can propose to Iris.

Random thought, but when Barry's running through the speed-force in a later season, I wonder if they'll ever throw in brief footage from the 90's show or some Ezra Miller Flash (using footage from the movies).

Very emotional and satisfying finale to an amazing season. The last shot of barry running up the building toward the cloud was big budget hollywood type stuff and on the level of avengers.
