Ronnie is involved in some way to trigger Caitlin's transformation into Killer Frost. I don't think he's gonna be killed off though.

Ronnie won't be killed off. Firestorm is going to be on Legends of Tomorrow. However, I am starting to wonder if Legends of Tomorrow will be an alternate reality since Captain Cold is going to be a hero in it instead of a villian.

Well, in the LoT teaser, Ronnie (Robbie Amell) was noticeably absent, leading some to speculate that he has been replaced, and we don't know yet why the two villains will be a part of it. There could be any number of reasons for them to join the heroes, there's no need to go the extreme of it being an alternate reality. With all of that kind of thing going on in the Flash, doing it yet again here would be major overkill.
We'll just have to wait and see.

There can still be a Firestorm without Ronnie since Jason Rusch was also introduced.

The trailer made it pretty clear that Cold was still the A-hole we know from Flash.

That was a possibility I had thought of, too. We'll have to wait and see.

I hope they do use the Black Flash for something. Maybe give it a season before they use another "evil" Flash counterpart, but man that would be cool.

I hope NOT. It would just be another variation of the Reverse Flash/ProfessorZoom, we already have/had an evil Flash. It's not needed.

Yeah, it's a manip. nothing more. I'm pretty sure I saw that same exact set pic before, and it was red then.

Black Flash and Reverse Flash are very different characters, Black Flash is essentially the grim reaper for speedsters.

If you look closely at the lines on his head you can see some red in there. Sadly it's fake

Um no not at all. Like said above he's the grim reaper for speedsters. He's not evil or a villain or really a character he doesn't even talk. Think of him like a grim from Harry Potter mixed with that fairy thing that escorts people to the afterlife. He's more of an omen and he only appears for speedsters the moment before they die

Yeah. That doesn't sound all that interesting to be honest. Really don't think the show needs a grim reaper character. Especially one specific to the speed force.

According to Grant, they starting filming early July.
