The season ender just ended.

Did Flash just recreate FLASHPOINT?

Are they using this to merge Supergirl into the Flash/Arrow/Legends Universe?

I won't be surprised if they do.this is their excuse to reboot SUpergirl to same
earth as flash/arrow/LOT.also have real harrison wells In S3.

Basicly any supergirl actors who don't want to move to vancouvier they have an out now.as well as way to kepp Tom Cavanagh on show.

I really hope they clarify this soon - if all shows are going to be effected. If so, DC just pulled the trump card in shared TV universes. This could be beyond amazing.

allows them to undo the last two seasons in arrow as well. Sets up a cross over with rip hunter who has to fix the time line. Zoom never came to earth one when eddie shot himself and opened the breaches so is still probably on earth two recking the place.

Good timing for a new thread.

They're not going to undo Arrow via the season finale of the Flash. It's gotta be something that fits Arrow's story. Otherwise, it's a cop out.

They could do really intriguing alternate universes for all of these shows.

For example...

What if Oliver Queen never stopped killing people like he did in Season 1? How much darker would he be today?

What if Tommy was the real Merlin? What would that have done to the show and all of the stories that came after Tommy's death.

What if it was Laurel who became the Black Canary first and Sarah was just a regular girl or flat out died years ago (which would really help due to Legends of Tomorrow).

Etc. There's a lot of really cool and very dark things they could do in 'Arrow' showing alternative routes and going more in line with the comics for a couple of episodes.

Doing a Flashpoint on Arrow would make a lot more sense than the hacking nuclear missiles plot.(it's impossible both AoS and SG got that right)

That would suck for sara fans.this timetravel changing history could be how they undo snart's deatha nd have him appear on the various CW DC shows.

They undo the Flashpoint timeline. Sarah would still be on Legends of Tomorrow as Canary.

So will Earth 2 Wells and his daughter be affected at all by the time change since they were on Earth 1 for awhile or will they still have knowledge of the timeline that has now been erased?

we probally won't see earth 2 wells anymore.instead have real wells who was never killed and replaced by reverse flash.

Just realized... no way around this... Caitlyn next season will be Killer Frost. Since the whole notion is everything turned to hell, that'd be a really personal way to show that clearly. She will also be fighting Ronnie Jacobs a.k.a. Fire Storm. (Wonder Woman fought Steve Trevor in the comics, in the comics Killer Frost and Fire Storm are each others' enemies).

people keep forgetting that story line plot set up with in the show when she actually met killer frost of earth 2. that Caitlin has a missing brother and her mother has been b*tchy to her about it with out telling Caitlin why.

I love these predictions......... BUT

The finale proved the lazy writers can just pull any random thing from their collective rears and expect the audience to swallow it, no matter how contrived or convoluted.

At this point, basically again could happen, and it can all be explained away with technobabble and deus ex machinas.

I don't see how that would prevent a Caitlyn in Flashpoint world to be good. Again, the whole Flashpoint thing is taking a wrecking ball to the DC universe and turning it into the most nightmarish version of it possible.

It will be a deus ex machina. That's what Flashpoint is. All of it will be reversed in the end. It's an exploration of what if the worst things possible happened in the DC universe. Then at the end Barry goes back, stops himself from saving his Mom and everything's back to normal by the end. So, everything they show us can and will be reversed so - hopefully - they do go crazy with this and pull a lot out of their hat.

Flashpoint spoilers:
Aquaman vs Wonder Woman tearing the world apart.

Wonder Woman killing Steve Trevor.

Bruce dying, Thomas becoming Batman and his wife becomes the Joker.

Robin becomes the new Dr. Fate.

Superman is kept in containment by the government.

So many good and horrifying things are in store (hopefully).

Nobody said it would follow the flashpoint new 52 exactly.

All it does is give a way to make some alterations to each series and POSSIBLY

get Supergirl in the same universe as the others.

If they don't then all crossovers with supergirl will have to involve other earth every time

I have no idea what they actually will do.

There'll still be a big bad next season, right? Or will the whole season be a Flashpoint story line?

It won't and can't follow the New 52.

One thing that will remain the same because it is the whole reason to do it - the world will become worse. We already partly know this will happen because Flash tells Flash to not save his Mom. He goes back in time to reverse this action. If things only changed slightly and not for the worse, there would be no reason to have to re-reverse it.

The whole message of the arc was if you change time significantly, even if it is to do something that seems great (going back in time to save a life) - everything can and will go to hell. Don't play with time travel.

If they don't keep that theme there is absolutely no point in doing Flashpoint.

yeah I doubt we'll see those characters from the league even if Geoff john's is a producer of the live action tv verse now. it' would be nice to see. but I don't think we're there yet .

I think Flashpoint storyline being the villain. The paradox screws everything to hell so much, that I doubt there will be much room to go much beyond that. There might be a speedster who Barry believes is behind it then turns out not to be (this would be tricky to find some way to do because of how the set up is different). But, I don't see it going much beyond just fighting to find out what happened and figuring out a way to save the world from falling apart. Barry, in essence, is the villain.

That's kind of what I'm thinking too.

Agreed. I want an main villain who isn't an evil speedster for Season 3

Yeah, that's why I don't want Thawne back. If there is a big bad, I'd want Mirror Master.
