Ectomorph can still work out and get toned. Grant Gustin has the body of a 12 year old.

I don't think this guy is necessarilythe big bad. Grant teased a while back that the big bad in season 3 wouldn't be a meta human

it's revealed in the mid season finale that one of the new supporting characters is in fact the big bad AND a speedster!!

Personally, I don't think this speedster is going to be the big bad. At this point, my guess is that he's just a Villain of the Week. I think he'll appear in maybe one or two episodes early in the season, and the big bad of the season will come later. Grant Gustin had mentioned in an earlier interview that they were looking to use a non-metahuman character as this season's big bad.

When you think about it, it's hard to come up with someone who could actually challenge him unless he had psychic powers to enthrall or at the very least incapacitate Flash. Or make them so strong and invulnerable as to render his speed irrelevant. To me Cold and Boomerang were never a match for Flash. He could disarm them and have them incapacitated before they even knew he was anywhere near them. It always bothered me that they could actually thwart him sometimes.

Actually, Captain Cold has proven many times that he's capable of thwarting the Flash because Cold is a very smart guy. Not only does he use cold-related weapons capable of slowing down the Flash's speed, but he has also used various special ways of protecting himself from the Flash during some of their fights in the comics, such as projecting a cold force field from his gun, or shooting very fast streams of cold that will hurt Flash if he comes too close. It's no accident that Captain Cold is known as one of the Flash's greatest enemies, because he's very good at coming up with ways to compete with the Flash despite being a non-metahuman.

Yeah something like this, if this is part of the timeline in which Barry's mother is alive then Joe could have adopted Daniel instead of Barry. How both Daniel and Wally would get their powers in the new timeline though, that's another question.

Im confused here - admittedly I haven't picked up a comic in years so I'm not up to speed [no pun intended] but is that the same Black Racer who was a black guy on Ski's? If so, how come he's got a costume styled after the Flash?

There are definite similarities between that and the costume in the set pic though.

I don't know about the Old School Black Racer, but this one is basically a Grim Reaper/Personification of Death under Darksied's control. In Darkseid War the Racer starts chasing the Flash only for the Flash to realize that he has become the Black Racer. Long story short, Darksied was "killed" again (not really cause Darksied is immortal) and the whole multiverse was knocked out wack with all members of the Justice League becoming New Gods.

It's a really interesting and out of the box story. And it introduced Darkseid's daughter Grail who is probably my new favorite villainess.
