I get what ya mean about feeling owed the real Jay Garrick. Especially since after recently rewatching season 2, I realized that they gave a LOT of screen time to the fake Hunter Jay, and it never really felt right or like we were actually seeing Jay Garrick (which was how it was written and supposed to feel I think)

We've been waiting years to see Jay Garrick and John Wesley Shipp couldn't be more perfect for the role I hope he gets a lot to do this season (and it looks like he will)

You mean for the Flashpoint arc or in general? I don't know if he was saying it just to promote Arrow, but Ramsey implied that FP would effect his show too.

As much as I'd like to see Flashpoint last a whole season .. I feel that by doing that, they'd be admitting that they don't know how to move past the first season.

Cavanagh was one of the best things about it, and now that his RF and Wells are dead, they can only bring him back in so many ways. I really want him back full time, but there's no way to do so without some timeline altering, and its assumed that even if Barry returns there's no way the real Wells stays alive.

I think they have a plan.
And this time, time travel won't save from a massive city-world scaled catastrophe, and hopefully it won't cause it.

They already showed him regaining his power in season 2.

In the comics he had Thomas Wayne help him get his powers back by recreating the accident...my guess is they do something similar.
