I would be annoyed if Zoom came back as Black Flash. That would negate the entire point of the end of season 2. Hey, time wraiths destroyed you! But wait, you still exist so they really didn't destroy you so I should have just killed you myself!
source: CBRThe Speed Force never forgets. Thats something Hunt Zoom Zolomon learned the hard way in the finale of The Flash Season 2, when the time wraiths hunted him down and transformed him into Black Flash before pulling him into the Speed Force. According to Teddy Sears, who played the deadly speedster, that may not be the last we see of him.
Zoom has been transformed into Black Flash, who has quite a place in the mythology of The Flash. Hes like the grim reaper for speedsters, Sears explained to TVGuide. Andrew Kreisberg, the head writer and EP, has talked about their interest in having a Black Flash return at some point in the series.

However, theres one thing standing between Sears and his return to The Flash: his schedule. It would be a lot of fun to drop back into that world, he shared. Well just have to see if the guys on the other end feel the same way, Sears says. It sounds like they do, but its funny now I belong to Fox, so theres lots of people that would have to give a thumbs up. But I really hope so.
Following his stint on The Flash, Sears joined Foxs 24: Legacy as a series regular, which means hes at the mercy of Foxs schedule. While Sears seems interested in returning to play the role, though, he could easily be replaced thanks to the circumstances of his transformation. After all, the character was changed physically as he became the Black Flash, and he was often voiced by Final Destination star Tony Todd when he assumed the identity of Zoom.

Back in August, Kreisberg expressed his desire to bring Black Flash back just not right away. There arent any immediate plans for that [storyline], but you cant keep a good Black Flash down, so Im sure well be seeing him in the future, he said at the time. He also complimented Sears work, saying, We love working with Teddy. Hes such an amazing actor and amazing person, and was so much a part of the success of the show last season. As such, he seems interested in working with Sears again, if possible.
Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster, The Flash returns on Tuesday, January at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale and more.

ok one correction and I tell you the rest o fthe detailsI don't think it would be pointless because of the flashpoint paradox. Barry saving his mom changed the course of time so that fight with zoom basically never happened. Like when diggle was told hey you had a daughter Sara and now you have a son John jr. My thing is how did the legends come across john jr as the green arrow of the flashpoint changed the time line and that happened before he stop reverse flash from killing his mom that confuses me
ok one correction and I tell you the rest o fthe details
John diggle is married to lyla who currently runs argus in arrow which
I don't watch any more .
Now as to Sara Lance and the legends team before Sara L came back from the dead. Prior to that diggle and his wife Lyla told laurel they'd name their baby girl sara after sara L.
now after sara came back from the dead the writers had her still wanting go out on missions even though she was suffering problem from the pit and I don't think diggle even bothered to tell sara Lance that he named his baby girl after her and her sister pick up the worst habbit imangiable from her ex oliver. cause they were all acting dense by letting sara lance go out on missions with them and it didn't come up cause of their denseness.
this same denseness also happened when the arrow team were complaining in the second arrow layer once in front of laurel about all the things Malcolm had done including what happened with the queen's gambit the ship and stranding both Oliver and Sara there.
And when laurel ask them to repeat that part again they all went silent (that's when they started doing what Oliver does far too often & it's a disease that's spreads with them on that show ) and this was when Oliver supposedly missing cause took challenge from Ras al ghoul stupidly.
now as to the time travel you can take it as for show doing in what happened in legends but in reality as I said again sara lance never met the diggle baby and was never told and the show runner said they bring on Conner hawk. now here's where thing got messed up Conner hawk in the books is a bi racial son of oliver man on and of relationship with women inthe books but the writers chose to go with he let's make Conner hawk a diggle child . what happen in legend was their ship was attacked in the stream and they landed in an alternate but possible future the thing sara met Conner hawk hear the story of what went wrong from both him and Oliver and the legends team found out Conner hawk isn't his real name it's John diggel jr. now after the even were semi resolved
the fans base was left asking where's john jr's older sister. cause for some lame reason john jr could be bothered to even mention his older sister so some speculated she died in nastier way then her parents and he just didn't want to talk( yeah the fan base seem to better at coming up with these thing better the the live action dctv writers for some reason) about and we're never gonna get reals answers from oliver with his spreadable disease of not telling people things .
so the writers chose to answer this in the most twisted way possible they used barrys flash point to erase her. when the fanbase still had the linergering question of what happened to baby sara cause the show runner of legends stated that the legends team will meet up with conner hawk in the second season possiblely . they could have easy fixed it that and said the Diggles had a second child who was john jr after baby Sara Diggle but nope ..
so there you go it was an alternate future found by accident withthe legends as jay garrick said time is fluid and with chose's made it can create a diffent reality which was what the legend found with Conner hawk destopian world of star city. it was an alternate time line which likely might not have happened but was only a possibility but when barry created flash point it became a closer possibility the only thing that more messed up about it is how they chose to go about making Conner hawk come into the picture it would have been fine if he was a second child but went with making Barry an even bigger dunce then the damage he did to his doppelganger on earth 2 and not allowing earth 2 barry to say good by to earth 2 Joe even though the latter was an open jerk of father inlaw.
he didn't create savitar in the show . savitar sorta existed before as normal person/possible meta. Savitar did state Barry as the flash trapped him there in the crystal and box . How that ended up in egypt has in a tomb? That has yet to be answered or why it was in ancient times. in other words barry made a mistake some how yet again. So then he created savitar to because there was no savitar before or Barry altering the timeline awaken this sleeping giant because I thought him changing the timeline created this savitar god of speed

Getting sick of Barry altering the timeline and outcome of things. Now he's gonna alter the future to save Iris from dying. All because he loves her and they are together, and the only reason that is is because of flashpoint. Which again he created and altered because of saving his mother.
Is everything now just gonna keep being Barry altering time for his own selfish reasons? It got old and annoying pretty much immediately. Especially to save Iris who I just cannot stand as a character and even more so as his love interest, feels so forced to me over these 2 and a half seasons. Shoved down our throats. Does not seem natural.
They've referenced the fight with zoom many times. It still happened.

Why it's so hard to have sara and the legends do him a favor torpedo that crystal into the sun , with a missile when rip shown the ship called the wave rider capable of it?.....
I think Savitar could be a projection or personification of the speed force. A speed avatar = savitar.
Re: the Legends meeting John Jr. before Flashpoint, the answer to that is simple. They met him in 2046 and he seemed to be maybe 20 years old. Now I'll grant that adding two years (Baby Sara was born 2014) doesn't make much difference, but let's just speculate: maybe pre-Flashpoint, Lyla would've gotten pregnant in 2016 and John Jr. would've been born. So the Diggles would've had two children. The only timeline change is that now John Jr. is two years older and Sara doesn't exist at all. So John Jr. might have existed either way, which is how the Legends met him. At least, that's the way I look at it.
hmm the thing I have the feeling they did exist otherwise jay wouldn't have said he heard of savitar . as to julin...Well Julian didn't exist until after the paradox so I figured savitar was the creation of the paradox and Barry altering the timeline could have also affected the future like it did in the alternate universe he lived in for months. I kinda got the feeling without the paradox there is no Julian alchemy or savitar
So your saying the speed force is unhappy with Barry because he keeps altering the timeline. So the speed force projected savitar to teach Barry a lesson? Why would the speed force to this? Why not draw Barry in and say stop or you won't have powers anymore. Just like how the speed force helped him regain his powers to travel back out of it.
I'm just trying to better understand where your coming from?
Bingo. Absolutely correct and with this barry will be trying to stop thing in the present day where iris is involved he won't be head back to the future or using time travel to save herWell, altering the future is a little different. Even Jay said it was "one possible future". Yes, it's a shame Barry will probably spend a lot of time focused on it. But changing the future that isn't set in stone shouldn't be as problematic as altering the past.
as I said up top which jedi repeated in a different way. this is what us the fans came up, with I did state it would make sense that baby sara was john jr's older sister.Right I assumed they would eventually have him when the legends met him but it confused me when they took Sara off completely
I think Savitar could be a projection or personification of the speed force. A speed avatar = savitar.

Despite being a fan-favorite character, the video games based on DC superhero The Flash have been few and far between. While he has been represented in recent games like Injustice: Gods Among Us, he hasnt been the focus of a video game for quite some time. Its a shame, especially considering the heros recent surge in popularity.
Though it never saw the light of day, Bottlerocket Entertainment (alongside Brash Entertainment and Warner Brothers) once set out to develop an open world Flash video game, with the Wally West version of the character taking center-stage. Back in 2008, prior to the Batman: Arkham video game series, Bottlerocket staff worked on getting the game ready for a 2009 release, but decided to eventually pull the plug on developing the title. Now brand new details surrounding the planned gameplay and mechanics has been revealed in a new YouTube video from DidYouKnowGaming?.
Keystone and Central City were both going to be accessible via the video game, with those behind the controller able to travel between each. Both main missions and side quests would be available in each city, with those missions allowing the player to mold the world around them. For example, a player who would complete as many missions as possible would see a pair of cities thankful for the superheros presence, but those who only did what they needed to do to progress would feel the angst of the victims of crime around them.

Villains including Weather Wizard, Mirror Master, and Captain Cold would all have played a part in the game, going up against Flash at various stages. The video even details some of the ways in which you could have taken down the antagonists, with some being standard beat-em-ups and others forcing the player to take a more creative approach. At one point, players would have even encountered the older version of Flash (Jay Garrick) in a mission where the Speedster is kidnapped by villains to experiment on his blood.
But which voice actor would have been behind the Flashs cowl? The team was hoping to hire Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool). Unfortunately, the process of development never got this far.
Knowing that there was a deeply planned Flash video game in the works that never saw the light of day really does sting for fans of the DC Universe. With any luck, The Flashs newfound popularity on television (and the upcoming film) will inspire a new game studio to bring the Scarlet Speedster to consoles. Considering the success of the recent Batman: Arkham VR, there could even be potential for Flash in Virtual Reality. This could be a real treat for fans if the studio finds a way to avoid the scary amount of motion sickness it would incur.

When The Flash ended its mid-season finale episode, Wally West had gotten back his powers as Kid Flash and has even gotten himself a trainer in HR. Whats more, an episode before that, we hear that hes even running faster than Barry during the first few legs of his own run as the Scarlet Speedster.
Theres a hint from a previous back half season teaser that another Flashpoint of sorts may be coming againas if the first attempt at changing anything in the proper time of things wasnt bad enough. And thats because Barry and the rest of Team Flash seem hellbent on saving the ladylove from potential heart-stabbing danger.
[YT]JCyNAkvoJQg[/YT]
Now in a new teaser, we get a glimpse of what could be a not-so-heroic side to Barry. It opens with Wally having just finished a mission with The Flash. And while everyone is giving rounds of pats on the back, Barry is just all frown about how Kid Flash didnt go with the Senior Flashs instructions.
Observe and learn, thats it. Thats it!And thats not all, Barrys outburst is clearly not over, because even though Joe himself is defending what appears to be Wallys actions as a Speedster, the Scarlet Speedster doesnt seem impressed. If anything, it looks like hes far from liking what Kid Flash did, even if it seemed to have saved his life.
As usual, HR serves as the comic relief to break the tension. Which is clearly not gone between the two Speedsters. So, does this mean the latter half of the season will be a sort of teacher Speedster vs. student Speedster glare contest?
The Flash will return on the CW in January.
Geoff Johns greeted 2017 with a list of the top five DC events he’s looking forward to in the new year — including a new television series that he promises “will be announced soon.”

The tease from DC Entertainment’s president and chief creative officer arrived Saturday night on Twitter, at the end of a rundown of several of the current TV shows based on DC Comics properties: The CW’s “The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Supergirl” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” and Fox’s “Gotham” and “Lucifer.”
The new year also sees the premiere of the NBC comedy “Powerless,” and new seasons of “iZombie” and “Preacher.” In addition, WGN America and Syfy have ordered pilots for “Scalped” and “Krypton,” respectively, and Fox has made a production commitment for a “Black Lightning” pilot. However, it’s unclear from his Tweet whether Johns might have been referring to an announcement of a series order, or a completely new project.Follow

Beyond animated series like “Young Justice” and “Freedom Fighters: The Ray,” projects known to be in development include “DMZ,” “Ronin,” “Y: The Last Man” and “Unfollow.” But we shouldn’t forget “Teen Titans,” which stalled at TNT, and the long-discussed adaptation of “The Sandman,” which has bounced between television and film for years (it’s still in development for the big screen, but its most recent screenwriter bailed out, saying the comic should be adapted for television).
Kelechuckuw K.c. W ·Does anyone feel like their enthusiasm for this show has died down? I'm not referring not watching it at all. You still watch, you just don't feel what you felt when you first watched it? The writing was better, the characters weren't overall unlikable, there were silver linings at the end of a conflict, it wasn't so dark and drab.
Each time I watch the show now, especially the trailer, I feel like catching it on netflix or not try to watch live like I used to. I just feel like the writers really lost what they had started with the show and I don't know if I'm going to really enjoy watching it anymore. It's not how I feel when I watch Supergirl, Legends, Arrow, those shows are still going strong for me. Flash is/was one of my favorite shows to escape to. I wasn't a huge DC fan before this, I'm firmly Marvel and always will be. This show was the light to look forward to, I still like it but I don't feel hyped like I used to. Too much is going on, writers throwing scenarios without fixing past mistakes, character growth is stagnant, soap opera tone, tropes galore, stories wrapped up as a stand alone episode. Hardly anything is progressing much.
Flash isn't dark at all, I wish the lighter tone could come back and I'll feel like they're back where they should be. Again, just a personal though, probably unpopular at best.
