"Bridge to-"
"Kirk." I shout, slamming my hand onto the comm button. "Report!" I pull off my shirts and start pulling a fresh uniform on.
"We have entered the system. The temporal waves are growing exponentially in intensity."
"Wait. We're in-system? How long have I been out?"
"Nine hours, twenty-sev-"
"Nine hours?!"
"Yes, sir."
"I wanted...I'm on my way!" I slam the comm line closed and storm out of my cabin.
The turbolift opens up and Jim walks out a bit disheveled.
"Captain, we are approaching the planet now."
"We are detecting an energy serge." Chekov says as he monitors the controls.
"AHH!" Sulu screams out as an electrical shock courses through his body.
He falls flat on to the floor, his body twitching.
"Nobody touch him! I'll be right back!" I say as I race to the turbolift and head down towards the sick bay.
It takes me a few minutes, but I'm back to the bridge with my bag of equipment.
"Everybody stand back." I say as I look him over with the small scanner.
"He has a heart flutter. I think a cordrazine shot should do the trick."
I pull the small syringe out of my bag and carefully inject a small drop into Sulu's body.
In seconds, his eyes open and he looks around.
"Oh my..." He says jofully as the powerful drug rejuvinates him.
"Thank you doctor!" Sulu reaches for me, with the neddle still in hands, I turn to avoid him, but he grabs me and the neddle pushes right into my stomach, shooting the whole syringe into my body.
"Oh, no." I say as the drug starts to course through my body.
I know what an overdose of cordrazine does to a person, it makes them paronoid and delusional. But I feel fine, it's so odd.
That's when I catch the looks on the faces of everyone on the bridge. Their scowls and dirty looks, like they hate me. Like they want to get rid of me.
"No...."
I stand up as they start to inch towards me with their hateful looks.
"Stay back....st-stay back."
One of the ensigns puts a hand on me, I quickly grab it and shove him away.
"Assassins!" I scream as I run to the turbolift and dissapear down into the ship.
