Maybe Rothman has had a bad influence on the entire company. Maybe.

So now BOTH SEARCHLIGHT AND FOX TV have to report to Rothman? This is the end for Searchlight!
They have been finding and distributing real gems recently.A "rough year?" Fox's only $100 million movies last year was Horton Hears a Who and Marley and Me. Did people at Fox take classes with the people who run our banks and give bonuses to executives to ran their companies into the ground? On NPR (WCRW in LA Radio), there were a promo about Rupert Murdoch and this is what they said: Rupert doesn't understand films or TV, but he UNDERSTANDS money".
That's why Rothman got promoted I think despite a rough year. Tom is probably a huge soulless lackey and saved 20th Century Fox money with their PG-13 Filmed in Toronto Under 100 minutes crapfests.

where?Someone posted an article in the community section about Rothman...a couple of people of course defended Fox for some reason that I cannot fathom.

We have had Mod's here call Fox hating "trendy". Personally, sticking up for Fox comes across as trendy.
Probably because Fox is an ad sponsor hereWe have had Mod's here call Fox hating "trendy". Personally, sticking up for Fox comes across as trendy.
Fox was once a good studio but it needs an overhauling to become what it once was and be able to deliver good movies again. It's been a loooong time.I don't remember when Fox made good movies. Maybe back in the 1990's?
Minority Report, XI, X2, uh.... help me out here, what else?
I liked those films and I-Robot. These films ended up being good because they had one director(Steve Speilberg) Fox couldn't control and others(Bryan Singer and Alex Proyas) who have talent.
Makes me think what a misses oppurtunity it was if Singer stayed for X3 and they could actually wait an extra year. It could be damn worth it. We would have it by now though.
Does anybody know anything about Singer's involvement in X3 or if he had any storylines cooked up?

Well out of a decade... this isn't quite that good.
And considering that more than 50% of those films are co-productions with better studios, like Dreamworks, it aint good at all.
Sorry for the double post:
It was going to be a two-parter with Sigourney Weaver as Emma Frost.
Singer + Ripley + Wolverine = Win.
