I think my favourite abandoned Alien 3 concept is David Fincher's $150 million dollar Hearts of Darkness adaptation. I think he may have been joking, but it sounds epic on paper.
Then there was that one Alien 3 with that odd wooden spaceship or something?
The wooden Death Star, that was a bit out there considering the Alien series was as realistic as a series about a 8 foot slimey acid bleeding alien could be.
I haven't read that script but, I do remember reading about the original script ideas during the early 90s where the storyline was supposed to take place on earth with a Blade Runner setting. The script was ultimately rejected for budget reasons yet I remember seeing a teaser trailer in the theaters which advertised the storyline as taking place on earth. Talk about false advertising.
I personally don't know anyone who actually likes the theatrical cut of Alien 3. Though I do have one friend who thinks the director's cut was okay but, nothing special. If it was a stand alone movie I wouldn't have as many issues with it. I think it's a horribly bad and unnecessary way to end what started off as a great franchise.

who was the black actor? i like him.
Nope. I like it. A lot. The Special Edition is kinda crap though.oh, and am i the only person in the world who kinda loves resurrection?
i love that black dude with dredds, y'know.. the one who hits women in rl? yeah, that one.

Dragonball is laughable! Its rated PG and 90 minutes long. Wow.lets add dragonball to the list.
from the info that we have the final fight is short and pathetic. the movie has a 100million budget. it looks like a low budget movie.

I hate those commercials. The funny thing is: Sometimes I see Tom Rothman on TV telling audience what the art of filmmaking truly is.....its irony at its finest![]()
