Ah.

Still.. Apple annoys me. :p

Haha, I'm up to my eye balls in Apple. Got a Mac, MacBook, iPhone, iPod(dont use it any more) Apple Tv and iPad(1st gen). My sister also has a MacBook and an iPad(3rd gen) and my father has an iMac and an iPad along with an iPod.

Well now.... This is interesting..

GameStop CEO Paul Raines mentioned recently the company finds used downloadable goods "interesting," but "it's not a meaningful business yet." Speaking to Gamespot,Raines said, "Right now we're not seeing that as a huge market, but I think we're on the leading edge. There are a few companies, a few startups, out there that we've talked to that are doing this."

Coincidentally, we already asked Gamestop about this topic when it purchased Stardock's Impulse digital distribution system, which had been playing with Goo, a system created to create a "used PC license market."

"We don't see a lot of interest in that model from our publishing partners," Steve Nix, manager of PC digital distribution for GameStop told us earlier this year. He noted the potential interest by customers, but had a hard time seeing publishers supporting the model. Raines wouldn't share the companies they were talking to over concerns of "competitors rushing in." GameStop has seen great success in slowly applying its physical store practices to the digital realm.

I remember a while back Gaben said that Valve was considering some sort of trade-in service for Steam.

"Used" digital goods is an interesting idea, but I fear it will just pave the way for yet another way for publishers to engage in anti-consumer nonsense.

So disappointed Orcs Must Die 2 is pc only

I bought the first game Friday since it was the Steam Weekend deal. Liked it so much I bought the 2nd with a friend yesterday. I don't think it should be too demanding for most PCs to run.

I may be wrong but I got the impression that maybe some viral marketing is going on or something.

Probably. I doubt anyone would take the time to not only edit their video, but edit out key pieces of info if they really thought they were going to be murdered soon.

Also the "I just smoked a lot of weed but I don't think that has anything to do with it," line felt like a huge wink to the audience.

LOL.

That was great. That whole video was funny. Even more so if he really is bonkers.

I'm so looking forward to this.

Oculus Rift

With that, something like the .hack// MMO might become a reality.

So has anyone here played Slender?

I can't be the only one that wasn't scared by that game at all. So many people were proclaiming it as one of the scariest games ever made. Pffft

Talk about major hyperbole. The only game I've ever freaked out with to the point of being unable to finish has been Doom 3.

Different strokes I guess? I thought Doom 3 wasn't scary in the slightest and couldn't finish because of how awful I thought it was.

So earlier I switched emails for my microsoft account because I lost the password to my old email, but when I try to buy points now it's still using the old email. I've even verified the new email. Anyone done this before and know how long it takes to recognize the new email?

I really went into Doom 3 with high expectations, especially after played the leaked Alpha build. After Rage and Doom 3, id really needs to bring it with Doom 4, I'm skeptical - but we'll see how that turns out.

I wasn't thrilled with the leaked Doom 4 screenshots, so I'm very skeptical about that game. At this point all I want out of id is a really good new Quake. I doubt that will happen though.

Raven made Q4 right? I liked the first half of that game a good deal.

Yep. They made Quake 4 and Splash Damage made Quake Wars. I liked Quake 4 quite a bit as well. I thought it was pretty underrated at the time it came out.

Never was a fan of the Quake games.

The one PC shooter that made me an addict in terms of playing for long hours was Counter Strike.

Which reminds me that I have to buy a PC soon.

I was into Q3 fierce back in the day, also played a good deal of Q1 - Q2 I strangely skipped entirely without meaning to.

I will fully admit to never having played Counter Strike.

Same here, loved Quake III. Played a lot of Quake II, only dabbled in the first. I'm sure you know this already, but Quake 4 was a direct sequel to Quake II.

I also have never touched Counter Strike.

I've played quite a bit of quake II and counter strike back in the day.

I LAN'd. lol

Nostalgia's kickin in - I remember running a few LAN parties for StarCraft back in the day.

Does anyone know if Madden 13 is going to be on the PSN Store for Pre Order like NCAA 13 was ?
