The Gaming Lounge: Beyond

Why they decided to do this with the IP and not a "Destroy All Humans" type of game is beyond me.

I think thats a incredible unique idea...but its so incredible random.
Like, out of all things you can do with IP...a park builder?
They had to have use some randomizer or so because how else would that be an idea you come up when thinking "Mars Attacks"?
It can work, but its the last possible game idea you could come up with on that IP.

A "Destroy all humans" type of game or RTS...would have been neat.
But who knows, if this one is a success, maybe the IP is branched out.

for years I used my old 15 year old slim PS3 as the living room blu ray player (I had the sony brand universal bluetooth remote for it) and decided to play some of the old games I had for it but when I turned it on the picture went out (it was hooked up via HDMI). So I dug out the old OEM HDTV cables I had for it back when I had a TV that had no HDMI and was able to play games on it again. But I was tempted to get it fixed so it would play over HDMI again, so yesterday on a lark I plugged in the HDMI cable when it was turned off and booted up and the system detected the cable and asked if I wanted to switch to that output I said yes then turned to the other input and now it plays fine over HDMI have any of you guys ever had that issue with a PS3?

After living over a decade of patches post-game release dates I think the kid who always said "this game cheats" probably was right.
