Thanks for this review. I'm definitely going to check it out now.
For those of you Who does digital, Comixology has a really Nice Marvel sale right now. Every title is 99 cents or less. I just bought 18 books for 16 euro. It's both New and old books.
During the recent sale at Comixology I picked up the first 5 (?) issues of the recent Defenders series and I gotta say I really like it. The art is mostly superb and the dialogue and plot is really good as well. Still not a fan of the black DD suit though but oh well.
I wonder when DC is going to release the new milestone comics. I want that new Static.
ARCHIE MEETS BATMAN '66
I love the 66 Comics! Great team ups!
More fantasy books coming out as comics! Just found Wheel of Time recently.
Do you guys think that a DC/Dragonball crossover would sell well?
I've been been wanting that for years. I think it would sell really well.
I decided to get back into Daredevil. So when did and how did Wesley come back to life?
Imagine Goku and Superman having to team up to fight Darkseid that has the Anti-Life Equation. Hell Goku would probably give it to him so he can fight him at full power lol
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Marvel finally reprinted Annihilation vol. 1 at my lcs today.
They'd fight each other first of course.
Started Snyder's Swamp Thing and almost done with volume 2. Paquette's artwork is great.
I recommend reading Soule's run after you're done with Snyder's. I liked Soule's run better.
Oh I definitely will. My local library just got all seven volumes of New 52 Swampy.
Ive been meaning to get around to reading New 52 Swamp Thing.
Jim Lee just shared his own drawing of Goku today:
Safe to say that Jim Lee would be a good artist for a DC/Dragonball crossover right?
Sure, it'd just take 3 years to get 6 issues in.
Finally bought the Jeff Lemire Green Arrow deluxe edition. I already own the single issues but wanted a longer lasting collection. The collection itself is very well made. I highly recommended the book if you havent read the book yet. The story and Especially the art by Andrea Sorrentino and Colors by Marcelo Maiolo are outstanding. So do yourself a favor and buy the deluxe edition.
That art was beautiful. The writing was excellent, but some storylines dragged a bit. Green Arrow for some reason sometimes feels like it over does the conspiracy stories. Thats common among most of his writers. Thats great Im small doses but they need variation and conclusion to those stories.
So thats really a thing then? I thought i was just seeing things.
But yeah, the art is something really beautiful and the characters feel good with a spot on writing.
I have it lying around somewhere and now i really need to re-read it.
