We're getting more and more good guys, and now we're losing Ganondorf ... Anyone wanna pick this character back up!? I hate seeing Ganondorf go for good . I'd pick up Ganondorf, but I really am not too familiar with the Zelda franchise.

That leaves basically only four villains now! (Kerrigan, Arthas, Mewtwo, and Trickster). Well, Eddie did say he may pick up Bowser, but still ...

With the lack of villains running around, I'm thinking of picking up another character. Any villains you all would like to see? I REALLY love Blizzard games, so I may go about picking up this guy:

I wouldn't play Bowser and Mario. Where would the fun be? That'd be like playing Superman and Lex.

So I wasn't really sure where I was going to take my first Trickster post, but I just started writing anyway and I guess I'm taking it on and assault on New York kind of path. People are going to start dying, heroes are going to have something to do.

Kerrigan can walk by any time now, I'm sure she'll be intrigued.

Also, I guess if Fox wants his ship back he's going to be facing some problems.

Hey, would anyone object to fighting some of Doom's crazy hellspawn? I'm thinking I may pick up the Spider Mastermind as opposed to Diablo ...

Of course, vast armies of Zombies, Imps, Demons, and Cacodemons will be causing chaos in New York. Maybe even a Cyberdemon for good measure!

(No nonsense) Application for the "Get Violent" Video Game RPG

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: The Spider Mastermind (Doom series). This is specifically the one at the end of the level Unto the Cruel in the Thy Flesh Consumed episode.

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: She is armed with a large chaingun that releases several shots at a time (like a shotgun), which is installed in her mechanical limbs which her head is connected to. The Spider Mastermind can also reproduce, asexually, Arachnotrons. With her large stature and keen intellect, she can command all of Hell’s minions.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: Hell’s army!

Why have you chosen this character?: Doom is probably the greatest First Person Shooter ever, if not one of the greatest games of all time. I would have picked up the Doomguy, but we need more villains … plus I get to command legions of hellspawn with her! Hopefully I can also give her a little character.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character? Not much is known about the Spider Mastermind, besides that she is the final boss of Episodes Inferno and Thy Flesh Consumed. In the short plot summary given to Thy Flesh Consumed, it says that the Spider Mastermind was the one that sent the creatures through the doorway between Hell and Earth.

Please provide your sample "blackout" post if your character comes from a different time to the present setting:

The Spider Mastermind sat atop the ruins of a once grand metropolis, now warped with demonic imagery and the blood of the civil. With glee she looked about her arcane sanctum, hungering for more skewered flesh.

Her mind then began to tense … it was the sound of gunfire in the distance. At long last, there was something to feed her carnal desires! Without thought, her spider limbs began to bang around the ground, as she could not control herself any longer.

The door to her shrine opened, and her cry blistered across the sublime nightmare. Six Lost Souls awoke, horned skulls with burning fire, and dived towards a marine in green armor. She had witnessed his kind before, defending the planets of Mars and Earth, but one all alone …

‘No no no! Fatum it is!’ Fatum she called it, the human she faced back in Hell, in her capital city of Dis. The marine that almost slayed the Royally Damned, herself. It was he that single handedly destroyed her armies on Phobos, Deimos, Hell, and now her legions on Earth.

A few blasts from the soldier’s chaingun, and the screaming souls exploded. “Unto me, Barons of Hell, unto me!” Two Barons, goat legged demons, who were throwing balls of green fire at the intruder, came to defend their master. The marine equipped his rocket launcher while behind a pillar, turned around the corner, and shot a rocket against a Cacodemon that spit at him from a story higher.

“Thee has come, unto the cruel, and thee shall fall!” She pressed forward, letting loose a volley of her chaingun bullets. The Doomguy tumbled from the pillar behind another, with only a few bullets hitting him. He shot a rocket towards her head, blood oozing from her exposed cranium.

“Sever the wicked thee do, but fear will approach!” Out of exasperation, she fired at the pillar, and it fell over. The soldier jumped out of its way, and then ran past her. “Face me!” As she turned, she saw he picked up a BFG. He pulled the trigger, and the Big ****ing Gun destroyed a Baron of Hell as it jumped in the way of the blast. “You will die demon spawn! Earth is yours no longer!”

“Egeil ym, retropelet eht esu!” The Baron beside her requested. She had no choice. With her mind, she commanded a large pillar to sink. As it did, the other Baron fell to a BFG blast. "Thee will never conquer me! Hell will forever follow me!" She picked up one of her legs as high as she could, and positioned it on the teleport pad. In an instant, her body turned white and she disappeared.

As her eyes opened, she saw she was in the middle of a thriving city, New York City. It seemed as though the device she stepped on wasn’t a teleporter, but more of a time machine. Could it be … was this the city she came to destroy before!? She’d get to demolish it all over again.

((I'm really surprised no one has picked up the Doomguy in this RPG. Maybe with the Spider Mastermind about, it will give someone the incentive for someone to pick him up. Afterall, I did keep the Doomguy alive ))

Well ok, maybe technically a fourth character, if you look at Sam and Max as two characters, but I always saw them as one (Plus, technically Max came with the Sam application)

So I guess if you look at it as a "fourth character", then its too much for this RPG? Aw phooey!
