I was just watching Spider-man when I noticed the fire- rescue scene, when Spidey's trying to save the Goblin pretending to be a woman in distress. See the Goblin's trying to get Spider-man to join his cause, but what does the Goblin do when Spidey comes up to him?

He punches the Webhead right in the face, and into the fire!

Then he's like; "still wanna join me? Cause you know I'm a nice guy like that."

Seems to me he should have been a tad nicer when trying to convince Spider-man to join him. Of course I know he has heightened aggression and violence, I just thought it was funny.

He was disappointed that Spidey was still playing the hero.

Thanks for reminding me, it still makes me laugh when I think about it, Dafoe was a great part of that movie.

I could really see him being disappointed in Spider-man for that.

It is pretty funny how he goes flying, and through a door.
What if Spider-man had agreed? What would Goblin have done with the pumpkin/razor bat thing in his hand?:cwink:

That's actually very interesting to think about. I mean, what the Green Goblin have done it anyway, or would he have just put it away?

I guess we'll never know, I'm telling you, these are the reasons why they should have the bad guy win in every movie!

My parents make fun of the line Spidey says, on the bridge, at the end. The, "Don't do it Goblin."

:wow:

I didn't find that funny at all. I kinda like the line "Goblin what have you done..."
