Still not as short as Criss. I’m really not particular about height but seriously, camera tricks and shoes can only do SO much.

He has the basics of the Superman look without being a generic, boring hunk. I think he’d rock the Clark Kent energy and look pretty classic as Superman with the hair and the costume.

I think that's a feature, not a bug. More big franchise leads should be kinda weird and distinctive looking!

I was watching Legion of the Super-Heroes the other day and I gotta say Darren Criss does sound like a decent Clark. Too bad he's too old to play this version.

If they do another movie with a non bald Lex Luthor let’s just say someone on Twitter who goes by the name James Gunn will receive a very angry reply under their post with the first look at Lex

I know this is sacrilege, but I don’t care if the Lex actor is bald. If they have a great actor in mind who doesn’t want to shave their head, fine by me

What if Lex is bald and wears wigs, and he throws them at Superman.

To be totally honest for as limited as his range is and as questionable as his personal affiliations are I think Pratt would be kinda great as Pa Kent when he’s older.

I couldn’t agree more.

I tend to generally prefer the more out of the box casting ideas, and Swindells looks like he could almost pull it off… but there’s just a certain vibe to him that kills the idea dead in its tracks IMO.

That said, I do suspect whoever Gunn casts will be someone closer to a George Reeves in appearance than a Henry Cavill or Christopher Reeve.

And somewhere I heard of Dan Stevens as Luthor, and yes that would work great, I believe.

As someone else said on this thread, I don’t know how you watch Hollywood and walk away from it thinking any actor but Corenswet should be Superman. I think a few people jumped on the Criss train because he looks vaguely Clark Kent-ish when he wears glasses, but… so do a lot of guys. Hell, I did the Clark Kent thing for Halloween years ago and I almost pulled it off. But as silly as it sounds, most of those guys look nothing like Superman when they take the glasses off (myself included lol).

I love Dan Stevens and there are like 10 different superheroes and villains that he would be perfect for but for some reason I feel like it’s just never going to happen, lol. His name gets brought up all the time but nothing ever materializes.

Dan Stevens is the male version of Samara Weaving. Both should be bigger than they are now, but it just doesnt happen for some reason or another.

I forget who first said it, but the more I think about it, Brendan Fraser as Pa Kent makes a lot of sense as someone Gunn would want. That said, he's said he's being picky with his roles post-Oscar win, so he might be reluctant to jump back into a blockbuster series.

That said, I nearly care more about the old Kents than Clark at this point. They need to be set right. - The damage Snyder did to their characters is just...
