I love Swindells and hope he has a long, bright career ahead of him (HBO get him as Duncan the Tall PLEASE!) but I just don't see him as Superman. He's just got this "Sadboi Himbo" look that doesn't work for Supes or Clark IMO.

I love Henwick as Lois, though.

Been binging the new season of Mrs. Maisel and I have to say… it will be a tragedy if Rachel Brosnahan isn’t cast as Lois Lane because it feels like the role she was born to play. I like some of the other names that have been brought up here like Henwick and Hewson but goddamn, Rachel is the Lois Lane of my dreams. The only risk you run with her would be stealing every scene from whoever is playing Clark. She’s just so, so good.

Side note… Alex Borstein would CRUSH it as a gender-swapped Peri White.

Not my first choice, but I wouldn’t hate it.

Although I’m so used to him as Kendall Roy, it would take a bit of work to see him as a rich guy who isn’t quite so pathetic.

The only other person I can think of besides Kinnaman and Strong who can play Lex is Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Just from Andor and The Bear alone, he can deliver something menacing and ego driven that isn't so obvious and on the nose.

And it would just be hilarious because of what he said on the show.
