ok So I just saw the trailer of this and it looks silly but it has an appeal to it that I cant quite put my finger on., also its created by Matt Nix (Burn Notice show creator )

I take it back. This wishes it was Stoker and Hoop.

Considering I never got into Burn Notice, Matt Nix may just not be for me. This wasn't a total miss though.

I'll start by saying Burn Notice is one of my all time favorite series. Ever. :P

Anyway...I really enjoyed the pilot. As with all pilots, there's room for improvement. It fell dangerously close to being too campy when it came to the bad guys. I felt the chemistry between the characters was well done, not too sure about the blonde women yet. Over-all, enjoyable. But room for improvement.

I really enjoyed it. I liked how camp the villains were; Andrew Divoff was particuarly awesome (as always). There were niggles (it was a pilot), but enough potential for me to enjoy this in the same way I enjoy Chuck.

The only thing I got really annoyed at was; Dan can't afford a bottle of whiskey (he's short by a few cents), but he can buy a $6500 car? I'm hoping we find out later it's something like he took it for 'police business' without paying and never returns it.

Finally got around to watching the pilot. I liked it a lot. It's every '80s cop cliché rolled into one guilty pleasure. I'm a fan of Colin Hanks in general, too.

FYI, it's the first network TV show to be shot in Dallas since Prison Break. It's also set in Dallas, not "Los Angeles" set as Dallas.

I love how over the top Dan is.

Its pure fluff. Nothing is really taken seriously, which is pretty cool.

Ok just caught up on this show. It is fun as hell! Is anyone else disturbed at how much Colin looks like his dad.

& oh yeah this is totally Stroker & Hoop live action. Nothing wrong with that!

I noticed that the other day. All Colin Hanks needs is curlier hair and he'd be the spitting image of Tom at his age.
