These games have never been made, and probably aren't even in consideration. But man, would they be cool.

The Wrath of Dr. Doom - During a lengthy absence from the land of the living, Dr. Doom returns to Earth to find that Latveria has been usurped in his absence. You play Dr. Doom, and must use every villainous trick in your arsenal to take back your country from the villains who now rule.

The Tick - Free-roaming action in The City! Need I say more? Okay, sure. And if you can get the vocal talent from the 1990s cartoon, especially former Monkee Mickey Dolenz as Arthur, this would be the greatest free-roamer ever.

Batman Done Right - Be more than just a kung-fu beat-em up fighter. Leap from the shadows. Gather clues, collect evidence, interrogate witnesses and criminals (be as creative and threatening as you like - if you wanna dangle someone off a roof to get answers, do it). Sure, beat up some hoods, but don't forget that Batman is the world's greatest detective too. Oh, and drive around in the coolest car ever.

Captain America - Warfront - WWII action, Cap style! Take the fight to the Red Skull, command troops, coordinate with your partner Bucky, and bash some Nazi skull with the iconic shield! Start with the angular shield, but as you progress in the game, switch over to the discus shield and an increased range.

Got any additions?

There was the Daredevil video game they sank millions into and then just dropped it.

Let's Not Forget Free-Roam

The Punisher free roam.

When I think that, I think GTA.

Btw, I always wanted a DC vs. Marvel game. Those Versus games are so fun and fast paced.

here are a few I've always wanted (they are all free roam cause I absolutely love free roam)

daredevil: like spider-man 2, but I would actually be ok with a smaller city, more of a centralized hell's kitchen, but highly detailed. I'd want DD to move really acrobatically and add some parkour elements, to utilize poles, drains, ledges, fire escapes, etc. of course some billy club swinging but not as much as spidey and his webs. I think it would have a lot of cool opportunities to use the senses and a radar sense you could turn on, turn the whole screen into a red tint and let you do things like... follow someone in particular, or track someone down in the city by their heartbeat.

the flash: I was thinking about this after watching the new superman game footage. I have always wanted the chance in a game to really just zip through the city with the flash's speed. it looks like after a point superman will start to fly and fly faster, but I'd love to just move through the city at super speed running on the ground. I think the makers would have a tendency to want to put everything else in slow motion, but I would only want that after you hit the real upper limits of his speed. it would take some getting used to, but after a while I'd have a blast with it.

batman: of course it's everyone's dream to have a great batman game. I'd want anything and everything. training room and labs in the batcave, a dark and rainy gotham to explore and protect, stick to the shadows, really play up the detective part and have to solve crimes. my problem with batman is that lots of people tend to make him a little bulky and clunky, and I would sleek him down a little bit to like the comics, so he could move a little quicker without looking so heavy. race the streets in the batmobile. even the chance to play as robin, nightwing, batgirl would be great

the tick: you got it in the first post. could be awesome

To make a perfect Batman game you need to take the game engine of either Splinter Cell or Assassins creed. If you take SC and remove the lethal arms and put in batarangs and a cape you have a Batman game. I'm not sure about total free roam it could be made to work and it could not work. The most original way to do a Batman game would be to not have an overaching story arc. Just episodes where Bat-rouges case trouble and you stop them.

I think free roam is best suited for the heroes that still do the day-to-day saving... Batman (well sometimes still), Spider-Man especially, The Flash, Superman... the ones that save ordinary citizens... Iron Man isn't known to just patrol around New York stopping purse snatchers and leaving them tied up for the police

I've written a lot about my ideas for the perfect Batman game. Those posts can be found in the list of links on the first page of this thread-- BATMAN: Safe Haven for Those Who Demand More-- and throughout the thread itself. Please read the rules and accept them before adding any posts.

My original concept for the game was that you would start out in the Batman's world sometime before Commissioner Gordon resigned his position, and basically work with almost everything the Batman has in his little world at that point (not including all the heroes he works with in crossovers).
There would be an overarching story arc where one of the Batman's enemies found out his secret identity and lots of detailed intel on his operations. They would kill off all his street-level crime informants and then eventually "out" all of his undercover identities (e.g. Matches Malone, etc.), forcing you to establish new contacts and create new undercover identities. It's all very complex, obviously, and would need to be made for a very advanced system, which will be created in the coming years. I wanted it to be free-roam as well.
My current working paradigm is that the game is one of a series that goes with my ideal Batman movie franchise, which starts from the beginning. That means you don't have to re-create anything... you have to create it in the first place. It also means you have several training levels that take place in other countries, and then Gotham is all yours.

It should definitely use the light/shadow dynamics from 'Splinter Cell.' Anything less isn't good enough. At the same time, there needs to be a balance of stealth and theatricality, not just sneaking around. Also, unlike in 'Batman Begins,' you should have much more than simply pre-chosen areas where you can trigger an effect that scares people; you should be able to improvise. Hell, in 'Splinter Cell' you can pick up soda cans, throw them and make people react, so why not be able to do that with Batarangs and shuriken, anyplace at anytime? Just like in 'Splinter Cell', you can knock out light bulbs, and much more. There are dramatic entrances and exits you can make to earn points toward special items to use later in the game. There are gestures and cues you can perform to make the enemy less effective with their weaponry and combat. There's a right thing to say and a wrong thing to say to get someone to do what you want in many situations, and you have to figure that out.
You'd also have night vision lenses in your cowl, but you wouldn't normally use them while searching for clues when no one's around (the game will make it ineffective for you), so you also use the finger-mounted flashlight. You should have all of the Batman's other classic tools: grapnel, Batarangs, shuriken, gas capsules, CSI kit, gas mask, etc.

Similar to the 'True Crime' games, you'd have a direct line to the police emergency band and be notified when street crimes or emergencies occur. You'd work crime scenes like a one-man CSI team, either before or after the real CSI team has been there. You'd snoop around criminal hangouts in disguise. You'd do electronic surveillance (in my original concept, you'd have electronic tracers and listening bugs and an elaborate system of recording conversations in the Batcomputer, but with the new concept, that comes in the second game). You'd interrogate suspects. You'd save people from burning buildings. Oh yes, and you'd kick criminal ass up and down the streets, swing from rooftops, drive a bad-ass set of wheels and have people scream your name in fear as you sweep in from above to engage the scum of the streets. Can't forget that.

The original name for it was 'Batman: Dark Knight Detective', with all the words in the subtitle representing the three major categories of performance rating for the game ("Dark" encompasses stealth and theatricality, "Knight" encompasses general superheroing, "Detective" encompasses investigation, surveillance, and dealing with people). If they're movie games, then they'll share the same name as the movie, but the rating system stays the same.

Iron Man, Iron Man, Iron Man. I would want an Iron Man game with massive epic battles. Have the suits FULL capabilities and just unleash Iron Man hell. Maybe since the movie is in production, we will possibly get one.

you'll most likely get an Iron Man game when the movie is released. Hopefully it wont suck like the Fantastic Four one
