Okay, and here;s how I did it:

for each paragraph that has a circled word in it, start at the beginning of the paragraph and count how many words until you get to the circled word. That number corresponds with the alphabet A=1 B=2 etc. For example, if the circled word is the fifth word in that paragraph, the letter for it is "E"

something seems screwy with the Crime is no laughing matter thing on A3. it looks like something is written on the reverse side of it.

at least the joker's drawings are entertaining.

i wish he'd send out copies of the ha ha times as well, though. good comparisons in writing techniques...:woot:
