How can this have been post on IMDB, if fake?
Because IMDB should be a restrictive site, right?

Common "wisdom" has it that imdb is fairly unreliable. I haven't seen much to support that, but I don't frequent the site and when I'm there I don't look up movies that are currently in production. I wouldn't believe it unless it's supported in multiple sources.

Many people wanted that Superman should be taken away from the WB/ DC and then we will get a true Superman movie, well if this movie gets completed and if this movie gets shown, we will be able to make some judgment.

I personally think that it will be a disaster, and Superman is best at WB /DC.

An independent filmmaker in the UK is making a Superman movie.

Lol, funny. Don't know if its legit or not but if it is, wouldnt that mean WB had to give their blessing? I mean you can't just make a Superman film without getting permission to make it. seems fishy to me.

well i've read that they're planning on making a superman porno, much like the batman 60's porno that was released. the director said the likeness of superman was going to be based on the christopher reeve's version. i don't think that's based out of the uk though. so this is pretty intriguing. wonder what it's all about.

When a fan makes a non-profit film focused on their favorite character, it's called a fan film.

When a fan who happens to be a filmmaker makes a non-profit film based on their favorite character it's...still called a fan film.

No "blessing" or "permission" needed.

Ok. So, this falls in the Batman: Dead End, World's Finest and Grayson section.

Even if it's a non-profit film, it's best to get the owner's permission. Especially since they'll be distributing.

Star Trek: New Voyages took a little heat from Paramount, but they convinced them they would not be making a profit on their work, so Paramount gave them the go ahead.

For poops and giggles, I checked the names from the credits at the bottom of the poster to see if maybe they had themselves a worthwhile candidate for a true Superman film, and of course, they do not. From the billing, it looks like Jay Sutherland will be playing Superman, and he stands at 5'10" with no resemblance to the Man of Steel whatsoever.

LoL, they way things appear to be going, it may be our only shot at seeing a superman film again.

It's really disheartning to see other films already being rebooted when their sequels were released since the last superman film. (F4, Ghost rider, Spidey)

from the poster it says that Jay Sutherland is going to be playing superman. He doesn't have a terrible look about him, but from his info on imdb, he's only 5 ft 10. If you look him up, again, he doesn't look like a terrible superman.
