That's good. So you like Operation Ivy, Rancid, NOFX, and bands of that sort, right?

The hip-hop I enjoy the most is that Native Tongues, Zulu Nation, Afro-centric kind of hip-hop...You know, that Tribe called Quest, De La Soul, Brand Nubian, Large Professor, Jungle Brothers, etc..

Rap music these days is wack! The hiphop community isn't level at all. The commercial state of the hiphop culture has transended all expectations to the point, its saturated every known media market. As it stands the industry (rap music) isn't known or highlighted for what it should and used to be but is now recognisable for its decadence. The latest wave to have hit the commercial air waves is the crunk sh1t and that got played out way too quickly. The hiphop community as I said, has its finger in way too many pies, tapping all forms of media and thats good because it keeps hihop at the top but there are far too many times where the focus of hiphop itself is shadowed by a load of bullsh1t that has become acceptable, thus influencing most of America and the free world.

    Just my piece.

I finally got my Del shirt today.

And since they didn't have any black shirts left, they gave me navy blue and gave me a Souls of Mischief CD to compensate.

Primarily I listen to Hip-Hop. Secondarily I listen to "rap". There is about 5% (No pun intended) of rap out now that I even listen to. I just listen to all of my old school cd's based on genre (Death Row, No Limit, etc.) Currently I'm going Back to the 36 Chambers w/ Wu-Tang's earliest sxxt (before they fell off the map).

    B.T.W. :

I went to the Anger Management tour not too long ago & ran into a couple of celebrities (Alchemist, etc.). Anyways, I run into this cat named Stat Quo who's signing autographs. So... upon signing, I tell him that {his CD} has to do a better job than Obie Trice. :joker: Stat busted out in laughter, either from my brute honesty or b-cuz I was telling the truth.;)

The only times I really listen to rap is when I'm in the car with my sister and she's driving. Then it's mostly Ludacris, Mike Jones, or other stuff. I don't really know, but I've just kind of gotten used to it even though I don't really like it. And one day I'm gonna call that mother ****er Mike Jones and tell him to stop saying his name. He says it more than a four year old grabs his crotch.
